Note: Fanfiction will be refurred to as FF

I am a realist when it comes to RP's and FF. I dont like to have to censor things unless I have to. Thats why when I write a FF, I would like to know what I can and can not do. For example, Cursing is a against the rules on this site, however I have no clue if that is in general or just when it isn't private (i.e. If I say "f*** the police" in a feed compared to "f*** the police" in a private RP or when talking with a friend who's ok with cussing). Now if someone says that "There are FF guidelines", there's not. There are guidelines for art, but not FF. Long story short, I think it would make life easier if there were some guidelines to FF's

honestly, just follow the site rules. thats the guidelines. if it would be against the rules, you shouldn't write it on site.

Then explain why the art rules get their own little thing? You could say the same for them and yet they have their own little rulebook

Quote1.1 PokéHeroes should be a friendly community-based browsergame for every age. To ensure this, it is forbidden to use offensive swear words or to make any statement that is inappropriate for any age, or to provide links to any material [e.g, images, videos, audio] that contains inappropriate content and/or language. It is likewise forbidden to deliberately cause trouble or to discriminate other users in any way. This is valid for the whole site - including the forum, private messages, the pal pad, the chat, your 'about me', your user statuses as well as the nicknames of your adoptables and your own username.

And seeing as you're RPing in the forums, that naturally applies there as well.

Im aware of the RP rules way to aware, XD. Adding a FF guideline thing would be a guideline for certain things. The reason I thought of this is because of how there is an art guideline. And if you take what cosmyn said into account, then why is their an art guideline section if you can just look up the rules?

I think it's self explanatory if you ask me. I think if they wanted separate rule they would have posted them already.
If you don't/can't cuss on a site, it's the same rule if you are going to post a FF on the site.
If the site doesn't want NSFW material, same thing goes for FF.

Basically put, the rules/guidelines for the site are the rules for other posted material. And looking at this sites rules, it's not hard to write FF with those rules in mind.

example: If you have a character that usually cusses (such as Bakugo from My hero academy), change the usual curse words to a more family friendly word but just warm people that the character is a bit altered due to the rules.

To answer your question as to why there are Art guidelines - it's because art is visual, while the site in general [and fanfiction] is written.

We don't need to elaborate on our rules for the written word, because those are already elaborated on in the rules themselves. Art is only mentioned in the rules in mention of Art Theft, but what can [and can't] be done with Art isn't even glanced over, hence the Art guidelines.
