Real short and simple. There isn't a need for a whole subforum for battling suggestions.

- Most of the posts there are "PH is an adoptables site, not a battling site, so (suggestion) isn't needed." Those posts are correct, and it proves that it's a redundant subforum.
- The (lack of) activity in the subforum also supports the redundancy.

I think having a subforum dedicated to battling gives a false notion that PH is actively looking to advance and improve the battling system, which clearly isn't the case. I suggest merging (but first cleaning out) the battling subforum with the "Other Suggestions" subforum to fix this.

(I wasn't completely sure which subforum this should be in, apologies if it is in the wrong one.)

The battling forum is for people to find opponents to battle and create their own little tourneys. This subforum is for suggesting changes and such. They are not remotely similar and would make this forum a mess.

I'd like battling to improve or change in some way, but most of the battling suggestions end in the ways KrazyKarp mentioned in the original post. I'm pretty sure the battle system has been untouched since it’s debut, but I'm not sure.

I'd also like to add on to the OP: remove the ‘Official Tournaments' subforum since we haven’t had even a single official tournament and the site is 4 years old. So I don’t think any official tournaments are being considered at the stage to warrant an entire subforum.

You know what? i honestly give my full support.
There's no reason for something to exist when it serves no purpose in the slightest.
it's kinda obvious battling won't be getting any updates with all the "ITS AN ADOPTABLE SITE!!!11!!" arguments for why anything shouldn't be implemented in the first place.

Honestly, most of the suggestions that happens to, are "Implement actual attacks instead of type-attacks", which, yes, will always get the same treatment.

However, there are some suggestions in the Battle-sub forum that I feel are correctly placed and hold some merit to the site. Merging it with 'Other suggestions' doesn't really make much sense either, in my opinion, because Battling is a part of the site, even if not everyone uses it.

Just because it's not as widely used, doesn't mean it's entirely pointless ^^'
