Sinnoh. Once, there was a scientist. This scientist had amassed all the plates to control Arceus. However, the result was that Arceus was accidently locked in the Distortion World. The scientist, on his deathbed, revealed the location of his journal, which was found by another scientist. But the scientist was not dead, he had been locked in the Distortion World with Arceus. Celebi had heard his cries, and using some of it's power, it gave the scientist a magical calendar, giving the scientist his last chance to fix his mistakes. But before he died, the scientist hid Arceus's plates across Sinnoh- which he can't access.
Now, a group of new trainers have been tasked with finding the plates after they have completed their journey. The trainers meet for the first time at a café with Rowan, to learn about their job....
Rules

- try to be literate, don't lead to dead ends (one liners are ok if they don't dead end)

Tall, about 5'9, with dark hazel eyes, medium skin and dark freckles on her face. She has long curly dark brown hair dyed dark blue at the tips, and wears a black baseball cap with a flat white brim. She wears black ripped jeans, a white shirt with a thick black stripe over the chest, and dark blue high tops. Her jacket is a windbreaker-style dark blue jacket with a thick white stripe on the lower part of the sleeve. Devyn has a small black bag over her shoulder/crossbody.
Personality:
Very tomboyish, Devyn grew up around mostly boys, and wouldn't be caught dead in a dress. She's likeable, usually cheerful, but can be really oblivious and critical. She's a bit of a jokester.

Name: Abigail Kristina "Abba" Matthews

Appearance: Abba is 5'4" with an average build. She has tan skin due to her constant exposure to the sun which contrast with her pale green eyes. She has straight, mid-back length hair that is naturally dark brown though is constantly dyed, currently sporting platinum blonde. Her hair is mostly seen in a high ponytail, though occasionally she will wear it down. She wears an oversized orange sweater that's been cut into some sort of crop top with her black sports bra showing, a high-waisted dark denim skirt with a childish pink flower embroidered on the bottom right side and black, thigh-high boots. Personality: Abba is very driven and determined, going as far as disregarding those in her way if she has a goal in mind. History: Abba was born in Sinnoh's Snowpoint City though she hand her family relocated to Anistar City in Kalos when she was three years old. There, she learned how to battle by using the family pet, a female Glameow named Klutz, though was quickly swooped into the world of performing and learned it was an easy way to get her parent's attention. When she was ten, she got a Fennekin from the Professor and began performing with Klutz and the Fox Pokémon in Pokémon Showcases throughout Kalos. She ended up making it to the Master Class, but was defeated in the third round. On advice of a veteran Performer, Abba decided to travel back to her Home-Region to try Pokémon Contests. She left Klutz, her Noibat and Slurpuff behind in the Kalos Region though took her newly evolved Braixen, Gourgeist and Eevee with her in order to evolve the Eevee into Glaceon while near her hometown.

History: Kawena was raised and lived on Hau'lio City through out his life. He likes to wear it in his pockets like it gives him luck or something.
His parents ended up being one of the trainers selected- well, not actually them. Kawena is, but they are a lot more excited to go to Sinnoh than them.
