"Kace, did you steal my charger?!" Elin yells down the stairs, his
earbuds still in one ear as he pokes his head out of his room.
"Think of it as motivating you to socialize, Lin!" Kace calls back
up, prompting the smaller boy to come down the stairs, silently
fuming.
"Not funny, I'm choreographing." Elin growls, the effect of his
anger slightly diminished by the fact he had to look up at Kace. "I
need my music. I don't need human interaction."
"Everyone needs human interaction." Kace replies brightly.
Andy got the feeling like sooner or later this is going to be like
a Family Comedy movie. Or possibly an episode of Loud House.
"Without socializing ya will not find people to sponsor ya or offer
you a stage to show off your talent! It's not soo overrated as most
people think- Communication rules!" Andy doesn't usually need to
shout so for a moment his voice cracks. As he continues along the
corridor he stumbles upon doors to Agunes room "Didn't ya forget to
close your doors? Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the music-
Violin is amazing but ya Musicians usually try out your
performances in private and stuff..."
"Charger. Now." Elin snarls. Kace sighs, and pulls said
charger out of his pocket. "Fine, but you have to join us for
dinner." When Elin tries to snatch it out of his hands, Kace raises
it above his head. "Promise."
"I promise, okay!" With that, he's allowed to take back the tangled
cord. Kace pats him on the head. "Good Lin. See you at six thirty!"
He calls the last part after him as he runs back up to his room.
Andy eyed the paper suspiciously and for a moment his eyebrow rose
but then a grin spread across his face "Not much of a talker, Are
ya? That's alright, No need to worry! It seems like there is an
empty room right next to ya, You wouldn't mind if i moved in,
Right? I have to warn you tho- I listen to Whale Songs before going
to sleep and some people find it creepy... And i am not soo sure
these walls are completly soundproof!" Its an old habit, He no
longer has trouble sleeping but its comforting to hear such
recognizable sounds- They helped him in hardest moments after all.
Made him a better person "I promise ya that i will keep it on the
lowest volume possible!"
She smiled and gave a thumbs up. He seemed like an okay person. She
turned around and started unpacking more of her instruments. Then
she started hanging up posters and decorating.
Andy nodded, Aqune seemed like really nice person! Just a big
Introvert, He thought. "If ya need any help then make sure to knock
on my doors!" He said as he left the room- Closing doors behind
him. Just a few steps away were doors to Andys new room- The room
was fairly simple. There was comfy-looking Two Floor bed, Writing
table located under the window, One Wardrobe- Wait, Two Floor bed
and One Wardrobe? That doesn't make sense... After checking rest of
the furniture Andy plopped onto the lower bed and buried his head
in white cushions "Feels like Hotel. This is going to take alot of
work.. But its going to be easy with the power of productivity! "
"I swear to god if that made me late..." Rylie grumbled, putting
her phone away. Another phonecall, this one being almost pointless.
She approached the door and knocked three times.
Lou walked across the campus with full confidence. She was ready.
She memorized the number of the house she was going to stay at,
along with the way she had to take to get to it.
With quick and easy steps, she almost looked as if she has walked
this path a thousand times already and was more than familiar with
this campus.
As soon as she reached the little house she was going to stay in,
she saw a familiar figure standing in the door. No way, she
thought. That must be the wrong house.
She quickly took out the paper where her house number was written
on out of her pocket and looked at it. Then looked at the number of
the house that was not too far away. Then at the paper again. And
tried her best not to scream in joy. I'm going to share a house
with my biggest idol?!
With a deep breath, she collected her thoughts and her confidence and walked up to the
cute little bungalow. She stopped right behind another person,
looked around for a second, then went to stand next to them.
"H-Hello.", she said quietly and raised her hand a little to
make a greeting gesture. She decided to not do that gesture because
she noticed that her hand was shaking like a leaf and instead
raised her hand to her hair to put a loose strand behind her ear
and put her pastel blue hair clip back in place.
A little blush sneaked onto her face, considering that she was just
standing right in front of her idol. "You're Kace, right? I'm a
huge fan of you- Your acting skills are amazing", she said, her
voice still really quiet. Usually, she never talks first, but this
was something special. Right?
"Oh, thank you! You're Lou, right?" Kace says, his pale gaze
switching to her. "Its so nice to meet you. Please, come in!" He
steps aside to allow them to pass.
"KACE YOU LIAR YOU DID TAKE IT! YOU BETTER APOLOGIZE BEFORE I
DELETE EVERYTHING YOU'VE WRITTEN!" Lee screams from the living
room. Kace's face drops, the smile gone, and a look of panic
crosses his features. "Wait! I'm sorry! Not the script!" He calls
back as he races to the other room, desperate to save his project.
The job was done. Unpacking was maybe torture for others but Andy
saw it as a great experience! He put most of the clothes in the
Wardrobe (Though he only filled half of it, in case if potentional
Roommate barged in) and even managed to take out his trusty
pastel-blue bed linen. The notebook was under the pillows and
photos on the wall... He had more things to put out but for now he
just hid all bags under the bed- He can hear other people shouting
downstairs even through closed doors, though he couldn't make out
any coherent words from it.
Curious, He left his room and walked downstairs "I hope ya are not
playing Video Games without me, Guys! Ya can't just betray me like
that!" It took him a moment to realize that new person came- But
when his brain decided to start working again he positively beamed
"And we got a new Member of The Pack right here! Nice to meet ya!
Hopefully, ya are not going to get tired of us on the first
day!"
Lou jumped a little as someone started screaming something across
the house. A little awkward, she watched the scene: An unknown
person screaming something that seemed to be completely out of
context for Lou, while threatening to delete something Kace was
apparently writing; Kace, now obviously worried, racing to the room
the voice came from and apologizing; and the violin that could be
heard from upstairs just added up to the already hilarious
scene.
Lou let her bag drop onto the floor and slowly followed Kace into
the room.
In the same moment, another unknown person came in and greeted. Lou
just looked at them and nodded, silently signaling that she heard
the greetings.
This caught him off-guard, yet another silent Introvert, Andy
though. This Year is really going to be something. He maybe wanted
to make friends but this girl didn't seem to be in the mood for
talking- Its most likely stress, Andy though. Its first day of the
new era for all of them- He is not going to bother, they will all
come around eventually... "Whelp, Hopefully, the Dinner will bond
us all- The power of Food has no limits!" He said, particularly to
no one around- just for himself. Hopefully, People in this House
will become friends instead of acting awkward twenty-four hours a
day toward each other, Not like being awkward is wrong in any
way.
For now, He should most likely continue unpacking... But first,
Wheres the Kitchen? Maybe he should explore this house a little...
Rylie entered, smiling, and nodded a greeting to Kace. "Nice to
meet you too-" She snickered, suddenly, hearing the screaming. "Ah,
this is home already. But... Kace, right?" She called louder, so he
could hear from the other room. "You're an actor? I'd absolutely
adore it if you starred in my next movie. Ah, I can see it now. Do
you have a stunt double?" She thought for a moment. "...You might
not need one, but it's recommended."
Kace snatches his computer back from Lee, quickly making sure all
his pages and sentences are still there. He sighs in relief, then
glares at her. "There's no need to delete all of my hard work
because of a stupid bracelet."
"Whatever. You're a jerk of an older brother." Lee replies,
adjusting the charms around her wrist. "By the way, what are we
having for dinner? Isn't it Elin's night to pick?"
"If it's Elin's night, what do you think we're having? I'll put the
pizza in soon, just don't mess with anything while I'm gone. Oh,
and, sorry! I don't appear in other's movies, a thing with my
publishing company. But thanks for the offer."
