Maybe an egg switcher if there are many useless eggs in the lab? (By useless I mean pokemon we already own or pokemon who nobody likes)

I mean there we could buy egg switchers from the shop. 1 switcher for 1 egg. Wouldn't it be helpful?

Instead of waiting for hours in the lab, looking if someone adopts the egg and we may take the new egg, we could just use the switcher on the egg and that egg would be replaced by another one. And maybe it would only be replaced for the one who uses it as people could be angry if the see legend or ditto but party is full so they willfully changes the egg so nobody gets it?

I'm pretty sure there's a max on the time eggs spend in the lab - 15 minutes? ^^ Also, I think making it only change for the user would complicate things for Riako?

I'm sure of it that eggs are supposed to be in the lab for a max of 15 minutes before switching. I've just heard its a bug, and eggs are not supposed to stay in the lab after 15 minutes [i'm 99.99% sure]. Once that's fixed I don't think we will need Egg Switchers or anything.

yeah, no support, eggs are supposed to disappear after 15 minutes but after some recent updates it looks like the coding broke for it, I'm sure Riako'll get it fixed back to normal soon enough, as for the idea in general though, i'd say no support, (as convenient as it would be for some situations) if you find yourself in a situation waiting for someone to claim other eggs so you could grab another, theres always the tall grass/gem exchange/daycare to grab eggs until that egg slot opens up in the lab. But even then if you're hunting eggs down in the lab, I don't really see why you can't just claim that egg no one wants anyways? it just adds to the problem of that egg staying there even longer than it should be; because others are doing the exact same thing?

I fully agree with Kelp. And who knows, the 'unwanted' Pokémon may end up being a shiny/mega able :)

What do you mean @Suvichan? Currently anyone can get a shiny and/or mega able from the lab, irrespective of their premium status.

No support from me for this suggestion.

Pretty sure lab hunting is in particularly for [Specific Pokemon of Higher Rarity]. As for the 15m+, I personally haven't seen it go past that far unless I left a tab open and it cached the information - although I rarely go to the lab other than for quests. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lab hunting usually refers to adopting random eggs hoping for a Legendary Bird or a Ditto.
Shinies and mega ables are not limited to Premium. Premium doesn't even give you a higher chance to get a mega able, only increases the shiny chances.

The Lab is public for everyone, which adds to the challenge.
The problem you're trying to solve with your suggestion, should take care of itself as soon as Riako gets around to fixing the reload bug [whenever he figures it out, I guess]

As such, I feel like this suggestion isn't really necessary, a feeling that is reflected in both the votes and the comments.
