I check out the Gem Exchange every day. Currently, one person has 113, and another 46 Active Exchanges. They both may have more, but that's just what I could find in the first 250 or so of the list. I suggest adding a limit on the Gem Exchange of twenty-thirty Offers at a Time. Giving everyone a limit makes it more fair because then others at least have a chance for their Offer to be seen.

I would also like to be able to search for Gems in either category so the Exchange will show me only the offers for Dragon Gems, or only the offers who want Psychic Gems. It would be a much quicker and easier way than using CTRL+F to search for Gems.

No support for the first part of your suggestion.

I don't really see a problem with people who have a lot of Gem Exchanges up, it just means they have a lot of gems and are searching for a lot of a certain gem for them. Since they also typically mass-upload all their exchanges at once, you can literally scroll past them to see the rest.

Speaking for myself, whenever I visit the Gem Exchange I always show the full list and go through most of the list to see if I have any exchanges I can make for gems I'm looking for. You can also always decline your own exchanges and set them up again if that's the case.

Lastly, your second suggestion has already been suggested here.

No support for first part as well.

You're talking about me there, but with your 20-30 limit, you would drastically decrease the chance for me trading. Yes, selfish reason, but Gem Exchange is my main-business right now.

I however would support a search-function. I feel there's a lot of improvement that can be done at the Exchange :D

Yeah, I support a limit of some kind - to be honest if your gem exchange is fair it will get taken within 10 minutes - 30 mins, so you could easily keep within a 20 limit.

I can't see why users with a lot of gems would see the need to put up pages full of 1 for 1 gems when they could easily do 20 gems for 20 gems in one trade.

(I also support a limit on the GTS so people can't spam 3 pages full of rubbish trades every few hours.)

The current gem exchange is an absolute scammers paradise, exploiting and taking advantage of a lack of knowledge from new users who don't know which gems you can't get through easy means and which ones you can't get through rumbling or slots.

If PH is hitting the scammers where it hurts, the gem exchange needs some loving.

Edit: Just so there's no confusion I don't consider your trades the type of scammer trade I am talking about Xangar, yours are simply on the extreme outer boundaries of values - but still tradeable by desperate big guys who might have gems to spare. I'm talking of 2 poison gems for 1 dragon gem type of scammer trades.

No support for the limit.

Spamming the GE allows you to set up multiples of small trades therefore increasing the change that someone'll come along with enough gems. I've always done it and I don't see any wrong in it. The scroll isn't that bad. It would be even less of a problem if the search button is implemented.

Have not voted because...
-no support for the limit.
I'm not setting up trades myself but I'm glad if I have a lot of offers to choose from. I've made several trades with Xangar and so did others and I like him to keep putting up a variety of gem trades so I can actually pick what I need.

However, I can understand that people are annoyed and frustrated when their offer gets lost between others. Therefore...
-full support for a search function.
I think it would be great to be able to choose the gems you're looking for and the gems you are willing to offer. So maybe two dropdown menus (I hope this is what they are called), where you can select multiple options. (e.g. looking for Fire and Fairy gems, want to get rid of Grass and Rock gems). But any search function would be appreciated.

Another idea:
If a user has several offers up where the details are the same - for example "5 Fire Gems for 5 Ice Gems" - then there is only one line with a little "+" below. If you click the "+" the individual offers are shown and you can accept an exchange. That way you would not have 20 times the exact same offer in a row.
Not sure if I explained that good enough ><
