What if, in the dream world shop, a week before a plushie is added, there's a poll.
This poll lets you vote on pre-made plushies to be imported into the Dream World shop.
It could look like this but with plushie names on it.

This could allow for different plushie options, and at the bottom it would tell you how many are going to be added.
i.e 5 are to be added, so the top five most voted get picked.
As you can see, Snow Fairy, Rock City Boy, R.P.G and I Wish are the top 4. The fifth place is a tie. In the event of a tie, the person who made the plushies gets to choose.

some plushies are already planned and some half made an *BOOP* another pokemon gets more votes

instead, this would take even more longer to have new plushies.

Usually the artists and site admins pick the plushies (right?) and they usually make them ahead of time, so what if an artist was working on her favorite Pokemon as a plushie, but then is got voted, say, seventh? That would very disappointing. I think this artists and staff do a nice job picking plushies on their own.

Im saying, a week before they are scheduled to be made. So that would mean that the voting happens before the artist decides. It COULD be only for special occasions though.

I see what you mean. That's why I'm saying the voting would end after a week, BEFORE they start making the plushies.

And it wouldn't be a problem if all plushies (you can choose from) are already made. Then they can add the plushies the people want and add the others later (if this voting is a one time special thing). Support!

Being the plushie artist for the site, I disapprove of this entirely.

I'm a 25 year old doing post-grad in one of the most strict 3D schools in the US (Animation course), and I barely have time to eat or sleep. I doodle plushies during classes when I can, because when I'm not in school I'm doing homework or projects for school.

Now, each project that I have to work on for school takes around 8-10h each. Each class of mine lasts 3h, being that I have 6 classes per week + two labs (also 3h long). If my days started at 9am and ended at 10pm, I would have exactly 3h per week to sleep.
Now, each doodle takes me around 5-10min; but finishing them on the computer might take from 30min to 1h30.

When I draw plushies I go with whatever is easier for me at the time - like previously said, I do it during classes - so if the class is easy and I'm sure I can catch up later on without any issues, I can put a little bit more effort into the drawings (a.k.a I can do more complicated plushies). Then, when I go back home, I separate the sketches I made that day in class, scan them and sort them into Easy, Medium or Detailed.

What I usually do is, whenever I have some free time out of school (which is like, barely ever) I work on as many plushies as I can on the computer so I can finish them. Then, I dump all those files into my deviantArt sta.sh so Riako can have a stock for the next couple of DW shop updates.
I usually do it early in the school quarter, so I won't have to worry about keeping the stock full while I'm having finals.

And the cycle goes on and on and on.

Having a poll with plushies to be made, ESPECIALLY a "week" before, as you stated in the first post, wouldn't do me, or the users who want said plushie, any good, because I wouldn't have time to make them anyway. Besides, having someone nagging you about a certain Pokemon to be drawn is as annoying as a user asking for your shiny for free (and I see those kind of messages every time the DW shop is updated).

If, by your suggestion, you mean making a poll with the already finished plushies that haven't been implemented, then by all means, I don't really mind. I actually made a chart with the names of all of the sketches that have been done, and the plushie drawings that have been digitalized and finished (yet not implemented). You can check it here. Otherwise, I do not support this at all.

I wouldn't even have the patience to do this, but it's great that you want to pay so much attention on this site. So if it takes so much time, it's better to say: the plushies that are done, should be in the poll nothing else.

And Maka, it would probably better to add what Marikot said, otherwise Marikot wouldn't sleep at all.

Oh my, I didn't realize it was so hard. Yes, I sincerely apologize for this suggestion, it should be made with whatever plushies YOU want to upload. If you aren't okay with any form of this suggestion, i.e pre made plushies in the poll(even though you said you were okay with it, I want to make sure.) Im so sorry about this.

As long as it doesn't increase my workload, I don't really care ouo the finished plushies are there to be implemented either way. What order they're released in doesn't affect me.
