I have to say I give my full support with this. If you knew my family, you would swear there were cameras around just so they can ask me to do something at the most inconvenient times. Which means I usually get asked to do something during a level of the tunnels >.<

So if there were a pause after the question option, I would totally use it! :3

Even though a lot of users have already given their support, I want to support this too. I'm quite addicted to the tunnel and it's annoying to quit from an exploration at the 100 questions or so just because I have to do something outside.

I don't use the tunnel at the moment, but I think I would if this was implemented. It would be really frustrating to get really far and then have to bail out because you had to go and do something. So full support from me.

Support because you make an excellent suggestion, with good ideas and a way to prevent cheating.

If I may suggest?

The pause is also like a stopper, so that if you leave Pokeheroes, you can come back, click the Royal Tunnel, and it gives the prompt "Would you like to continue exploring _____ path?"

And maybe make it so it autosaves or pauses for those unfortunate times when the site goes down? Because there is nothing more frustrating than clicking an answer, and instead of moving on (or getting the wrong answer :P) you instead get our favorite "407, internal server error"

I agree with that. The horribly frustrating moment when you get an error during Royal Tunnel exploration *shudders*

If this has no chance to be exploited for cheating then i'd support it. .w. I have a habit of missing important information in messages so,, how would you keep users from pausing it to look up the answer and get it right every time? .w.;
