Riako, I liked it overall. Some things did bother me though.

The Tall Grass has never favored my choice in grass patches. So between that and the timer it took me 19 hours to get my first egg, 6 hours after that to get my second egg, and 18 hours after that to get my third egg from the TG. To make it better... A little idea.. Maybe remove the timer from the TG for hunts? Example, if it was mareep again, just disable the timer for X amount of eggs we need before the timer returns. This way it couldn't be abused, still a challenge to find the right patch grass with an egg hiding in it, but a little more of an even playing field.

Adding in to comment on Riako's newest post.. Like I said, it took me a full day and 19 hours after the hunt started to obtain all three eggs. I think a page with adoptable eggs would kill the fun. The timer in the TG is what hurt. If it was removed specifically for a hunt with an egg limit before the timer returned, the event would still retain a bit of luck.

As for how we were notified... and the notice time I would have preferred if there had been a news post than a news alert at least 2 days prior. My notifications aren't working right, so I barely check them for daycare or rumble mission alerts anymore. It was by chance that I saw the feed, and none too soon as feeds from others pushed it down out of sight.

I agree with demonshade in every way i had to work harder than most people because i work all day and only have a couple of hours to be on ph to click plus i come tired after work and while i was at work i couldnt click while other people had alot of time to click especially now that everybody is out of school since its summer time XD. either way i managed to complete the task because of my determination and motivation to level up the sheeps 030 it was alot of painful clicking but worth it 030

As one of the unlucky people (spent over a day and a half trying to get the first egg, another day and a half for the second, and I still can't get the third >.<), I think DemonShade summed my thoughts up perfectly. A good percentage of looking for the egg involves me being in class, where it's nearly impossible for me to do so because I can't not pay attention, or else I'll may miss something important. Although I really like the concept of this contest, I think it would be easier for many if we had more free time on our hands (and luck xD).

Also I have a question. Now that all the eggs are claimed, will the other unhatched Mareep eggs in your party break your chain? Mine is on the verge of hatching and idk if I should buy a box for it o.o

EDIT: It hatched already, so I'm assuming it doesn't yet

It was a nice idea Riako, but why only give away 30+3 when there are already 17.000+ users on Pokeheroes?

Koinu: 17,000 users, yes. Though "only" 1,700 online during the last 24 hours - and I bet less than 200 members even participated in this contest. Maybe even less than 100.

Most users didn't participate, cause it is hard to do it. I would participate, but I had to use the tall grass for my hunt.

I feel like 50 people max participated in this event, it is a hard to find 3 mareeps in the tall grass. Then level them all up. I got my eggs very quickly compared to a lot of other people but some still beat me with leveling the mareeps up. Surely if it took some of y'all a few days to find a mareep you didn't look every ten minutes? Yes the hunt in the tall grass is a bit of luck but the leveling up is all to you. If you didn't interact at all and expected others to interact with your mareeps then you probably didn't win. I don mean to be rude but the leveling up portion of this event was pretty much based on how many interactions you yourself did.

One point about timezone advantages: I think there may be an advantage for those who can start clicking right after the reset at midnight server time. They have the whole day to receive clickbacks while the night hours are lost to others (since clicks from the previous day don't carry over). Why this makes a difference? I'm sure some people only click (back) once a day, and if you've missed the time, you're out of luck. Maybe it's not a big difference, but I thought I'd bring the theory up.

I didn't find the Tall Grass part too hard; in fact that was the most fair part about it all in my opinion. No premium benefit, no progressing when you couldn't be online. Yes, it's still not fair to those who simply cannot spend as much time in front of the computer, but I don't see how that can really be helped.

All in all I don't think I'd participate in such an event again though; even with decent luck in the Tall Grass, some Rare Candies and lots of clicking I barely made it. It would be too disappointing to try so hard and then go empty handed.

Hehe, I didn't participate, as well. I suddenly lost my Flute and premium because it ended, and I am having a problem with hatching eggs.

Yay 1st OS shiny Genesect hatched~!!

How many winners are there so far? Because i'm making it (look at my sig) but I won't push it if there are already 30 people who made it.
I love this btw, I don't understand the problems with it. Everyone can find the mareeps in the tall grass, it's about luck and chance. I'm hunting shiny charmander and I was really-really happy when I found out that I can participate anyway. :) The only thing that bothers me is that I don't have many friends here and many other people don't return interaction-favours. :/

I'm sorry you didn't make it in time but a lot of people will breed the fluffy god .. eh dog anyway (unless Riako decides to be mean again and make it unbreedable or something, who knows :b), so you sure will get one sooner or later anyway! =)

So I didn't make it even close? :p

Oh well, I had fun with this event/contest -thing (whatever. xD) anyway so I'm not that disappointed that I wasted precious scraggy hatching space and time on the sheeps. :,D

And because an awesome person said they'd breed me one of those furry creatures. .3.

Well they were still 40 lvl from reaching 100 so I didn't really think I would reach it :b I'll have to ask someone to breed me a fluffy doggy.
Now sheeps, off my party, you are taking space <o<

I think that to have a Pokemon lvl 100 is too hard, only people with a lot of time and experience would win.. I didn't participate cause I knew I wouldn't win, it would have been a waste of time :S

I was alright with the hunt. The tall grass gave it a nice luck based challenge that I liked, but understand why people were frustrated with it. Maybe mon-specific hunts should have the timer nurfed a bit so people aren't waiting so long.
My biggest gripe is people complaining about not receiving clickbacks, but not clicking themselves. Honestly, I did about 5-7k clicks over three days and was able to finish just fine. You don't need to hardcore click to make some progress, but please click regardless. I also don't understand why people would gripe about external site clicks either. I didn't use those and was able to finish. *shrugs* Maybe I just got lucky?
