[ Hello, new trainer! Are you ready to begin your adventure? ]

You nod eagerly, and the woman on the screen grins.

[ Good, good! Now, what is your name? ]

You're a new trainer in the region of Unova. You may have been born here, you may have moved here. No matter how or why you're here, you're excited to begin your new journey with your partner Pokémon. However, not everything is picture perfect - you'll begin to notice not everything is as it was all made out to be. Team Plasma has begun their plan to liberate Pokémon from people. The Seven Sages will begin a siege of Unova. And it's become your job to defeat Plasma, The Sages, and save Unova.

We can all start leaving Nuvema town - it can be with someone else or whenever, but everyone has their starter and such at this point.

"Ika! You read for our adventure?!" Amaya said, somewhat skipping down route 1. She beamed at the aloof and offstandish Snivy she'd received as her partner. "Hmph. C'mon, Ika, smile a bit!"

Marisa grimaced, glancing at the Pawniard she was partnered with. "So. You're stuck with me, I guess. Have fun? Maybe?" She murmured.

Ax was on top of Lee's shoulder, poking his trainer with the horns in his mouth. "Ax, cut it out," Lee sighed. Ax snickered and continued to poke him. "Ax!" He snapped, poking him back. Ax laughed and finally stopped, much to the relief of Lee. "Oh boy."

Angelica scratched under her Minccino's chin, the pokemon she received as her partner "You're the perfect partner for me, Silver.~" she said as she walked. Silver, who was on Angelica's shoulder, purred loving the attention.

Samaya sighed as she fixed her shoelaces, tying her high-tops with a butterfly knot before reaching up to gently brush down her bangs with her fingernails. She ran her finger down the grooves of her dark brown & light pink ombré braids before rushing out towards the Route.

“Woobat! Come out and fly with me!” she called, throwing a Love Ball in the air and released the Psychic & Flying-type from within it.

Jean glared at Marie-Paul, before glancing around again. "How did I get the weak one? Everybody else got something good..." He stuck out his lip, pouting like a young child, before starting to make his way down route 1, Marie-Paul following slowly behind him.

Oli was walking down route one with his Blitzle walking next to him. "Uh. So welcome to the team." He said sheepishly to his starter. The Blitzle whined slightly as if to try and reassure his new trainer, he nudged the boy kindly causing him to laugh. "Hey cut it out you might knock me over." Oli said gently.

"Wait! Ax! Come back!" Lee shouted, laughing, and ran after the Axew (who was sprinting away from him towards the route). "Five minutes I've had you, and I've already lost track of you!"

Angelica stopped and looked back at Lee with a glare, hearing him shout at his pokemon. "Could someone be any worse with their starter?" She said, Silver snickered at the comment. Angelica noticed the axew and grabbed it as it passed "Are you that boy's starter? wow, no wonder you ran away from him."

"Vee?" Snivy said as it turned around, before yelping in fright and jumping onto Amaya's head as she saw an Axew running towards them.

"Is that an Axew?" Amaya said, confused. She then noticed Angelica next to her. "Exactly. How could someone lose their starter? It's been like, 5 minutes." She said.

"So. You're a dark and ..." Marisa said, before looking back down at her Pokedex. "Dark and Steel. That's good. You'll be great for my hopeful future team." She smiled in slight fondness before returning to her usual blank expression.

Oli saw the commotion going on, he hid behind Blitzle shyly. The zebra like Pokémon snorted in amusement and went over to the others. "Hey wait." Oli said quietly and followed his Pokémon towards the others.

Marisa turned around, seeing a large group of people. She and Pawniard both stumbled behind a tree, nearly falling. Apparently both were shy around people.


"Wow, both of you need to chill-" Amaya started, rolling her eyes as Snivy gave an annoyed nod of agreement.

Jean spotted the other trainer, before snorting slightly. "See, Marie-Paul? I'm sure they've got strong pokémon..." He walked over quickly, beckoning for Marie-Paul to go faster. She shook herself slightly before running over, her tail dragging. "Hey!" He called out, with a chuckle.

"Sure, it's cute but not my kind of pokemon." Angelica said and handed Ax back to Lee "Also learn to take a joke. and while you're at it, get to know someone before you call them prissy cause you could get yourself hurt if you say it to the wrong person." She said then whipped around, her long blond hair with the different colored tips hitting Lee in the face, then started to walk away.

"It's kind of hard to be nice to someone when they have your pokemon," Lee pointed out with a sigh, and put Ax back on his shoulder with a wince at the hair.

"Ax-axew!" Ax grunted in agreement. Lee rubbed his head, muttering something about it not sounding like a joke, and nodded at Amaya.

"It's not just me, then?" He shook his head.

Blitzle stopped short of the others, and glanced over to Oli. The boy blinked and tipped his head to the side. "She seemed nice." He mumbled partially to himself, and sarcastically, as Angelica walked away. The Blitzle then snorted and scraped a hoof on the ground in agreement.

Marisa glanced from behind the tree nervously, yelping when Jean walked a little too close in his path towards everyone else.

Jean whipped around, glancing around. He could have sworn he heard a yelp... "Is anybody there?" He called out, standing awkwardly. Marie-Paul raised her head, moving her tail around slightly.

Lee laughed. "That's true. Just me being stupid again, I guess," He grinned. "Well, uh. I'm Lee. That's Ax--though, I suppose everyone here has met him."

"Axew!" Ax greeted them. He waved at Jean and apparently at Marisa.
