Then you don't see any negative points.

Also, seems like you are subscribed to this thread, to defend your negative opinion so much.

The negative point that I see is that I feel it is unnecessary; I thought I made that clear. And I'm not subscribed; I just check in periodically to defend myself, my view of the situation, and my right to share my view on the situation if need be.

Customization is always unnecessary; that doesn't make it negative.

Touché... I guess my point of view is if it's unnecessary (in my opinion), why bother putting it in?

@Finchwidget,

I do understand what you mean by it being 'unnecessary'. However, that's defined by whether or not people want it and by the fact that this suggestion does have a positive majority in its poll, I'd say it wouldn't be a bad addition. Also, it wouldn't be hard to implement which means users that find it 'unnecessary' could simply ignore while those that want it can use it.

Oh and to answer a previous question about 'halflings'. Sorry, not sure if it's actually a term used in English - I might only have it in my vocabulary cause of being in an international school in China :'D We tend to randomly translate Chinese terms without noticing cause most people understand.

Basically, it means someone of mixed blood ^^

Support only if it is optional... since (currently) I only have one country
... and I'm not keen on using a flag to state that I speak English and Hindi... it's rather apparent that a user speaks English just by looking at a feed.

@jimmyhocky, yeah, I think we can all agree that the second country would be optional ^^

Using a flag to represent that you speak English would be quite difficult as well - what flag would you use? Quite a few countries have English as their official language and it'd be weird to have a UK flag if you haven't even lived there.

I still stand by my belief that this would mainly be useful for people that want to represent different cultures e.g. international students, those that have parents of different ethnicities, those that were born in one country but grew up in another etc.

Tbh, I wouldn't use it, [but I probably will if we hit the lottery, because my dad wants to move to canada], but my support still stands because of reasons stated
