So, how would you have all the evolutions of the retro pokemon that you can only get once like Retro Togepi, Retro Ducklett and Retro Magikarp? And how could you get retro Pichu? if the retro you can get is retro Pikachu and retros are unbreedable.

No support.

Edit: Let's say you make retros breedable, so it should be able to shiny chain them. So there will be shiny retros? Who's gonna make the sprites?

The mega-able Kanto starter retros, will be able to finally mega-evolve? How will the mega-retro form be? Because the concept of mega contradicts the concept of retro pokemon. What about shiny mega retros?

Who would want to trade its hard earned retro pokemon. If someone wants to, they would be really expensive, and as you can only get one per account, very few people would be able to get all the retro evolutions.

So they keep being unbreedable. Then what happens to the mega retros? They would be extremely rare, and extremely hard to get, to a point that is really unfair to people that wants to complete their dexes.

First, it isn't quite the same, but this suggestion suggested mega retros already

And I'll use my favorite quote from that thread to argue with you:

And it WILL be unfair. Retros that are only available once (Togepi, magikarp) will be in short supply. Every person will need THREE retro togepis for example if they want all the evolutions.

And that doesn't even deal with the fact that anyone who has more than one will suddenly become subject to even more begging.

Because each one only counts for one dex entry. IE, you'd actually need all three.

making a few retros able to evolve seems unfair.Plus,who will make sprites(mega retros)?And the Main point is, Retros are special not due their sprites,they are special cause they cant evolve.

Even if retro evolutions were available, there is a slight problem: what about evolutions which were given after gen 3, from what I know, the wiki says, "Retros are gen 1-3 sprites"

For eg. Togekiss, togepi's final form, was introduced in generation 4...

Neutral. I like how unique they are by not evolving, but then we could have Mega Retro Blastotoise, thus making a use for their Mega Bubbles.

I mean it would be awesome if they evolve cause idk if you can but if you get a retro bulbasaur or charmander that is mega able would have no use right now but if they can evolve it'll be so amazing
