Saw a mommy-blog post (I wish those dumb pages would stay off my feed) about how it's bad to give a kid too many toys because they'll become ungrateful or messy 😒

As a child with deep attachment issues to physical items due to lack of attention and parentification who had her things thrown away as punishment or because it was too much/too messy... Guess what, now I just collect and hoard "toys" (collectible figures and plushies whatever) even worse as an adult.

Plus half those things would now be worth a small fortune but you know ...

Was it really necessary to spam like 5 pages of the GTS?

My anxiety has me like “oh what if work gets mad at me for not going in?”

And I have to actually stop and be like 1) I am quitting 2) I do not really care about the feelings of people who scammed me out of 3 grand with their cheap misinformation tactics 3) even if they did mention it to another job, and do any ever actually call for a reference, what are they gonna do? Whine that I got sick my last week?

I’m trying to develop my “heck u” attitude. Which is hard with anxiety and rejection sensitivity but, yk, I’m working on it.
