guys, I haven't worked for almost 2 months... yet that's still second nature with me.
Don't judge me. Chocolate cranberry bread is amazing, and I will continue to make this trip every year. Once I get a deep freezer, I'll be getting like 4 loaves.

trying not to worry. They told my MIL the same thing about one of my BIL's, and she took the blood test and it told them he'd have DS, but he doesn't.
it was a literal mini fleet with 3 floating ice cream barges.
And it all stemmed from-- get this-- Prohibition. Despite prohibition ending before WW2 began, people still needed something to replace the hole that alcohol left, and people replaced it with ice cream, which made the demand for ice cream go up, which made companies find out how to make ice cream easier and faster, and how to store it better. By the end of prohibition, it was so ingrained in the American psyche that ice cream = happiness. To the point that when WW2 rolled around, one of the worst wars we've ever been in, the government said, "you know what our men need, while they're fighting for their lives? Ice Cream!"
to the point that when the Lexington was ordered to abandon ship some of the men were late to the lifeboats Because they were raiding the daggon freezer of ice cream
