No, it will not. Eggs from Event Distribution, events like Kyurem and Shaymin, eggs given to you from Prof. Rowan or the DC man (not adopted, specific dialog box to receive those), and eggs recruited from rumble areas like Alola and Galar (maybe eventually Hisui and Paldea??) DON'T count towards your shiny chain.
