Can someone explain why in my Pokedex theres egg icons? Some next to pokemon pictures, but some by themselves?

Oh, and by the way, when I summoned it with the golden rings, it also carried a Pokémon Egg with it! I guess it stole it from my storage room, this evil little... urgh.
