I think it would be nice if we got actually batteries for the pokeradar instead of having to recharge it every time we finish a hunt. I could stock up a bunch of batteries and use them instead of having to make sure I have 50kPD on hand.

I didn't expect to hatch a shiny at all since my Pokéradar isn't on. I was bored so I've been working on completing my Eggdex. But this is a happy surprise!

Power went out at 1 today so I decided to go out to get some grub and some wifi. Brother tagged along and we got McDonald's cuz I wanted to try my luck again with the Happy Meals XD. First pack of cards had Froakie (again 😩), Fennekin, Litten, and Holo Bulbasaur! My bro asked if I think they'd be worth much. I tell him probably not since McDonald's is trying to meet demand and print more if needed. But Holo Pikachu is probably worth $50 from what I've seen online. And as I opened my second pack, lo and behold... Holo Pikachu peeking out. Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott, the Unova starters were also in the pack :D Pretty happy with Holo Pikachu, so I probably won't try for Rowlet. Don't wanna push my luck and my wallet :P

So I found out today on Twitter that 3 days ago, McDonald's Canada released the Pokemon Happy Meal. 😱 When I found out, I immediately texted my bro who was out for work to buy me one when he comes home XD And yay! I got one! The four cards I got were Froakie, Squirtle, Turtwig, and Holo Chimchar. I was hoping for a Rowlet but chances of getting what I want isn't high. Thinking about buying another to try again maybe? I mean another Happy Meal to fill my tummy won't hurt, right? XP

So I was checking the Dream World shop for my hourly DP when I scrolled down and saw that I could claim DP for sending a plushie. However... I haven't sent a plushie at all today despite thinking about sending some for the Articuno plushie. Then I remember I got a plushie from the fountain and it says it's from me... So I'm assuming that plushie counts as a plushie you send lol

Finally found the last egg! Some of these eggs were really well hidden. I'd probably wouldn't have seen em if I wasn't looking for em intentionally. Looking at the pages over and over again wasn't getting me anywhere... So I tried to close my eyes and imagine navigating the site. And that's when I realized there was a page I didn't go deeper into. Immediately I opened my eyes and check the the page. And there was the last egg. I kinda hesitated cuz I didn't believe it really was the egg lol.

*Big facepalm* I was waiting days for the Item Shop to restock Shiny Stones but I could've boiled them quicker all this time...

So I clicking Town for something and ended up in Town by accident. Looking at the fountain I remembered people posting about receiving a plushie from it... So I thought "ok, why not toss a coin in despite not using the fountain much/at all". I throw a coin in expecting to get nothing as I usually do, and I do get nothing. Not surprised, I move on to do something else. But I spot a notification, so I check it. And to my surprise I got the plushie. I got it much sooner than I thought I'd get it. I wonder if there's a shiny version... Cuz if there is, I'm gonna have to start tossing coins more often.

So it seems SCS ends like 10 seconds after it hits 10 minutes. So I assume it doesn't start exactly on the hour, but 10 seconds after. I make this assumption cuz last year SCS was like off by like a minute and a half. I wonder how off SCS will be by the end of this year haha.

Just heard the news about the snowstorm in Texas causing power outages. I know the polar vortex was making it's rounds this winter, but I didn't know it's affecting so much of North America. I don't think I personally know anyone who lives in Texas, but I hope everyone stays safe and warm. My thoughts are also for everyone else outside of Texas who are also facing this.
