Logged on for the first time in a long time, hatched a shiny waterboi from a lab egg.

The most irritating thing about human society is that a sharp mind is no match for a thick skull.

I have no fear or sadness or dread or antipathy of my own death. I welcome the fact that I will one day die, and this doesn't bother me in the least. When my time comes, it comes, and I am confident that I will die without regret.

However, I have spent many tear-filled nights fearing, dreading, hating the mortality of loved ones. As someone who loves dogs, I'm constantly reminded that I will watch generation after generation die. As someone whose parents are over 65, I have to accept that their deaths, too, are just around the corner.

I fear death, without fearing dying. I consciously accept it as the natural ending of life, but I fear the loneliness and longing it brings.

So I just watched Beastars in one day... I'm looking forward to season 2, but I have so many confusion that my confusion is the overflow yes yes.

For those of you who don't know, Beastars is an manga/anime that can best be described as "Rated R Zootopia". Like, down to the tiny details, you could tell me it's Zootopia canon and I'd believe you. Even the mayor being a lion is the same.

Uh... hard to pick just one? I can't always remember stuff right, anyway, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some great stuff, but...

My first kiss, I guess. It was just the right level of dorkiness, awkwardness, and intense cringe... But I wouldn't trade it for the world. Super fun memory, that.
