Hi, I’m a very new player. I’ve been having a blast so far and I’m looking to enjoy the events more. At the moment, the event that interests me the most is the fashion contest! I’ve been happily beavering away at the tasks it throws my way. BUT I don’t now the slightest about the fashion part of the contest. The most important part! So I wanted to ask if anyone has advice/input on how to get on with things. It would be most wonderful to have a chat! And I really need help!

Okay, so, the tasks that you do will give you accessories, backgrounds or/and the event currency. In EVERY beauty contest, there's a theme and "allowed pokemon" category (only pokemon that are "allowed" can be models)
By clicking the accesory tool, you can pick a pokemon that you own of your choice (as long as its allowed). Then you can set the background and insert the accesories you've earned so far! You can have multiple of one accessory, and when you use one, it can't be obtained back. Backgrounds stick around forever though. Once an accessory is insterted, you can click/use the arrows to position it to make mosaics and your OWN background!!!!!!!!

This may be a bit of an advanced tip, as it's easiest to perform when you have a lot of accessories, but it's still doable starting out.

You can use layers to change how certain objects look, depending on how you stack them near each other! For example, you could make a mountain by combining multiple of the accessory 'Shed Horn' to start off, but more complex shapes are also possible (and you can use different accessories too)! Last month, I made a pointing finger (like the one in Metronome) using multiple Shed Horns, despite there being no hand-shaped accessory available.

Unfortunately there's no easy way to edit layers like in other art programs - you'll need to use the buttons "Move towards foreground" and "Move towards background" to make adjustments, and they just move the accessory up or down one layer each click.

And most importantly, don't refresh the page before you take the photo! Doing that will cause all progress to be lost.

Hello! I will always send missing plushies (unless you specify otherwise), and hope you also do the same ^^

Thanks for the advice! I’m going to keep getting accessories for the time being but I hope to be able to make something in the near future! I’ll make sure not to refresh the page before taking a picture.
