If I have opened the 20th day window is there something specific I need to do to get the choice between my Latias and Latios, or will that option come up after the event is over? I just opened the 20th window, but did not get a notification to choose a prize.

I'm wondering the same thing. Perhaps it's for the 21st door instead? That, or I'm just missing something.

I believe you'll get the Latias and/or Latios after the event concludes.

Yes, it is after the event. It was the same last year.
