starter won't evolve?

so, i have my starter here, and it's level 33. it should have evolved once by now, and while it was in a rumble, it's NOT anymore. there seems to be no button to evolve. it's not busy doing anything, as far as i'm aware.

i have no pokemon currently in a rumble, and that's the only thing it would be doing as far as i'm aware.

edit: suddenly it's evolved lol

I just gave it a berry, then it became a bayleef. Hopefully it's fixed now
