hi! so, i just joined ( obviously lol ) and i'm wondering if there's a forum guide for newbies? just tips and game tricks that would be helpful for a newbie to know? the tutorial is nice and all, but i'm here to minmax /j

really, i just want to know tips and tricks, what might be best to focus on in the beginning, etc!

There are many parts of this game, and would probably take me like 1 day straight if I were to tell you all the tips. You can find many of them in this sub-forum, but I will list some important ones.


1. Get the amulet that doubles interaction pd asap. It costs 10k pd, a lot for a new player, but it is definitely worth it.

2. If you want to hatch a shiny, use a pokeradar. if you are looking to sell shinies, shiny combee (male only!) is good to sell. It is the only shiny that serves an actual function. Don't want to spoil anything, you will find out if you continue playing

3. When making trades, use stonks. Stonks is a guide in the website to find median/average (idk which one) of prices of a particular item/Pokémon. stonks guide
