Miraculous! Fear is a cage
Hear the message, answear the call

It is recommended that you watch Miraculous world Paris: tales of Shadybug and Claw Noir before joining this rp. It will give you all the info you need to know regarding the parallel universe. Minor miraculous knowledge is required to join, I don’t have the energy to explain it all

Everyone in Paris knows about the Miraculouses. It’s like an unwritten rule, not a single person in Paris has never witnessed an Akuma, or never heard about the heroes going around saving Paris.

What if I told you there was a universe where it wasn’t known to the general public? What if I told you there was a world where the possession of the Miraculouses is an eternal conflict between good and evil?

In the parallel universe, a being known as the Supreme is in possession of all the Miraculouses. Well most of them. Some Miraculouses have fallen from his possession, ending up in the hands of ordinary teenagers. These ordinary teenagers are recruited by Betterfly, Ladybug, and Paw Noir into the resistance, a team of superheroes to fight against the Supreme and their ways.

As the resistance gains new allies, so does the Supreme. He gives teenagers who are currently experiencing painful, depressing, and dark times a Miraculous to make their dreams come true with a cost: they must retrieve the stolen Miraculouses from the resistance

As this endless battle between good and evil continues, even when the heroes and the villains are living their civilian lives, there is still a battle to be fought. It just seems like no matter what world you’re in, wether you’re a hero or a villain, there seems to always be something to fight.

A quick guide on the two sides, and their main perk you gain by joining them

The resistance is lead by Betterfly (Gabriel Agreste) and their goal is to defeat the Supreme for a better world. Superheroes in the Resistance are ordinary teenagers who came in possession of a Miraculous and was recruited into the resistance. While they’re unable to use their powers multiple times and are forced to detransform five minutes after using it, they can have a secondary abilities granted to them by Betterfly using Kamikotization.

The Supreme is lead by a mysterious being simply known as the Supreme. They are in possession of most of the Miraculouses and he wants all the ones that fell out of his possession back, and he has recruited teenagers at their darkest times into his army. These miraculous supervillains can use their power multiple times, since using the Miraculouses for evil overrides the security system put in place to keep underage holders safe. Unknown to these supervillains, the multiple uses of their superpower in a single transformation is draining them of their vital energy, and they may be in more danger than they realize they are

In short, Resistance characters are still restricted to the one superpower use per transformation rule, but can gain additional abilities from Kamikotization. Supreme characters are not restricted to the one superpower rule but in return their vital energy is slowly being drained, so they’re in very grave danger

When all your vital energy is drained, you fall into an eternal coma as if you were using a damaged miraculous.

Quote from Miraculous wiki on how damaged Miraculouses affect your health The deterioration of the person's health will be minor at first and get worse over time, with severity increasing for each subsequent use of the damaged Miraculous; it starts with small coughing fits and trouble staying on their feet, but then it will get worse later on and soon it will reach a point where they can't walk without some kind of supports, and eventually they will be left totally bedridden and barely able to speak. Once they're near the end, their hair will start to turn gray, their skin will turn a sickly pale, and their facial features will become sunken with bags under their eyes.

Rules, forms, the usual rp stuff

It’s been a while since I made a rp, I might be dusty, bear with me.

Quote from rules1) As usual, all PH rules apply. Be nice to everyone taking part in the roleplay. Hate the character, not the role player in control of them. No one liners, use at least 3 sentences per post
2) In past roleplays I had trouble balancing out the number of characters on each side. People always seem to go for the good side. To prevent this, each user can have a max of 2 resistance characters and 2 Supreme characters. To replace a character, the retiring character must renounce their miraculous in the rp. Would be preferred if you notified everyone beforehand!
3) Both canon characters and OCs are allowed. Because this is a parallel universe you don’t have to strictly stick to the canon of the main show for canon characters. They can have a different miraculous from the main show, be evil or good, let your imagination run wild, but make sure they’re still recognizable.
4) Original Miraculouses and canon Miraculouses are allowed. All canon Miraculouses (including ones from the Native American miracle box) except the following:Ladybug, Black cat, Butterfly, Peacock, Rabbit, Rooster, and snake. The last 3 are banned since their superpowers are too OP for roleplay purposes.
5) Duplicate Miraculouses are not allowed. Subspecies of already taken Miraculouses are not allowed. (So if someone already has the tiger miraculous, there can’t be a white tiger miraculous) mythical animals are allowed!
6) Max 3 additional Kamikotization powers. They cannot be OP and they cannot be direct copies of already existing miraculous powers.
7) Romance is okay, don’t make it the central point of the plot
8) Feel free to ask questions!
9) Password is Kamiko.
10) Do not take advantage of any rules not added here

Additional notes:

All the characters are in the same class at College Francois Dupont.

No one knows the civilian identities of the resistance heroes/supreme villains, not even Betterfly. As the rp goes on people are free to reveal their identities to close friends or be accidentally exposed. However be careful of who you reveal your secrets to, because they might use it against you.

Accessory: Gothic bat wing ear wraps. In its charged form it’s pure black, and the countdown is shown via five gems on each end of the wing fingertips. In its camouflaged mode, it’s a simple silver ear wrap
Kwami Nyexx, the bat Kwami of anticipation. Very laid back, a bit lazy, kind of like Plagg.
Tool: Boomerang. It is shaped like a bat and will always return to the user.
Transformation/detransformation words: Nightfall/Daybreak
Superpower Echolocation The bat miraculous user claps their hands while saying the superpower name to activate the power, essentially giving them echolocation. They become aware of their surroundings even in pure darkness, but the power can also be used to extend their senses, allowing them to “see” what others can’t see. This can be used to search places faster, used to detect traps and surprise attacks, or navigate through a maze.
