Welcome. Young traveler. You are now in the village of vermil.

My name is prof Edi. You can call me Cavani too. Wonder why you are here? Well I don’t know either. When I came here, I lost all identity of myself. I forgot who I was. This town is made out of 2 things.

1. Travelers that don’t know where they came from. The town is on maps, but no one knows why they came and how it happened.

2. Pokémon. Pokémon are mysterious creatures filled with many secrets. Some Pokémon live alongside humans and some live in the wild in grassy fields, caves, or the sea, but much about their ecology that remains unknown. One of their main features is that they can be caught using a Poké Ball, which allows them to be carried around.

Before I introduce you around vermil, I must tell you the rules:

Stay in Character: Maintain your character's personality, motivations, and behavior throughout the role-play.

No Real-World Harm: Avoid actions or dialogue that could cause emotional or physical harm to participants.

Communication: Open and clear communication is key. Use OOC (Out of Character) communication if needed to clarify or discuss the role-play. My Pallas and PM is always open

Realism: Strive for realistic reactions and responses within the context of the role-play scenario.

No Metagaming: Don't use out-of-character knowledge to influence decisions. No overpowering as well

Have Fun: The primary goal is to enjoy the experience, so be creative and have fun!

Almerad raises an eyebrow at the stranger who suddenly greeted him the moment he enters the town. Who the hell is this guy? His parents always told him to beware of strangers and for all he could know, the guy's probably gonna mug him or something...well he'll think on what to do when he gets there.

"Yeah? Well nice to meet you, uh...sir. I guess you could say I also just wandered in as well. And don't need to introduce me to all that Pokemon mumbo jumbo, we also have them where I came from!" The boy leans in closer, scrutinizing the professor, "Besides, why should I just trust a stranger I suddenly met? You say you don't know who you are but you still call yourself a professor? How do I know what you're saying about the town just now is true?"

Oh! You suspect my knowledge and research? Tell you what. I have discovered the phenomenon of mega evolution! It’s when a Pokémon gets supercharged with energy from gems around it, and evolves to a form like never before! This is how we here make a living. The Pokémon however, are very protective of the gems and will attack our village. A wall is not enough. Wait. Look at you, you can join the vermil cadet corp, where teens like you are selected to go to training. To protect our village, it is a must and entry is tomorrow and necessary. Wait, do you have a Pokémon? You need one to join the corps! However, as a scientist, I can give you one.

...Well he can't argue with that. But skipping to that next part, this is a sorry sounding village. What are the adults doing that they have to hire random teens...He's not even a teen yet.

"I still find you suspicious, you know. But I won't ignore the offer of a free pokemon! I'll let the possible implication that you're forcing me into child labor just this once, mister."

'That and my parents been killing me to be responsible...maybe finally having a pokemon will help that...' Almerad mutters to himself

Almerad stares at the small stump Pokemon with vibrating glee. He picks up the energetic Phantump that seems to be ready to buzz out of his hands any moment. With absolute confidence and probably a little bit of ego, Almerad points at Prof. Edi

Well? How was it? See the powerful move I used? This is all thanks to the MOVESHARK27! It allows you to use any move the Pokémon can learn at any level! You will DEFINITELY need it.

Flabbergasted. Shocked. And then frustrations as Almerad stomps the ground at the sight of his Phantump downed so easily. "Cheater!" Almerad said yet he still nabs the MOVESHARK27, "If I knew you'd use some sort of cheat tool, I'd have totally decline, this stinks!"

...A few seconds of being angry later, he decided to check out the knick-knack, his anger completely forgotten as he tinkers with the MOVESHARK27 like it's a new toy. "I guess I forgive you now, this is a cool cheat tool mister! Still suspicious of you though, but much less!"

Well well well. I, prof Edi has invented a few great inventions like this one. Now time to go to boot camp. However, you will need to walk through honey forest. It’s quite a peaceful stroll and the most pleasant thing before boot camp. Your phantump should be able to protect you with the MOVESHARK27 . However, these will come in handy.

You received 5 Pokeballs!

Everyone knows how to use these. Just weaken the Pokémon and chuck it at them. Wild Pokémon only. Hope you survive!

The Honey Tree Forest is a lush and vibrant woodland habitat in the Pokémon world, known for its sweet-smelling trees dripping with honey. Many Bug and Grass-type Pokémon call this forest home. Some of the Pokémon you can find in the Honey Tree Forest include:

1. Combee: Combee is a Bug/Flying-type Pokémon that is often seen buzzing around the honeycombs in the trees. It's known for its unique gender differences, with only female Combee evolving into Vespiquen.

2. Burmy: Burmy is a Bug-type Pokémon that blends into its surroundings by covering itself with leaves or sand. Its evolved forms, Wormadam and Mothim, depend on the cloak it has when it evolves.

He snatched the pokeballs and huffs, putting Phantump in one of them to let it rest. Without a single thank you, Almerad left walking towards Honey Tree forest with a huff. The forest was anything like the forest around his village. The sweet smell and the numerous lively bugs and grass-types roaming about, even the occasional normal-types.

"I wonder how my parents are back home. Eh, they probably don't care about me...kicked me out because I'm not good enough...damn parents."

He sighs, looking around. Searching for his second member won't be too bad but there's not really any specific pokemon he sees that entices him. A temporary member perhaps before reaching the boot camp...Hope there's not too much physical activities. He always hates them.

Grabbing a handful of honey from one of the trees, Almerad raises his hand and yells, "Come and get some! First one gets it all!" He readies his Phantump to catch the pokemon by surprise and catch it easier.

Burmy looks at you and is ready to battle for the honey. Just then, prof Edi comes and shouts at you “ even with the MOVESHARK27, the Pokémon here are special! The gems everywhere in the region boost them!

Almerad didn't expect for the Burmy to be so feisty as he instead was the one that got surprised. The Burmy puts up a fight and Almerad had to keep running away when the Burmy strikes for the honey. "Shoo, go away! Stop moving so I can catch you damn it! Phantump, uh, do something!"

Phantump perks up after watching it's trainer being chased by the bumbling Burmy. With the newly obtained MOVESHARK27, Phantump vanishes into the shadow and Almerad screeches when Phantump suddenly appears, charging straight at the Burmy and barely missing Almerad. "Warn me next time, damn it!"

The phantump merely boos in mischief before the boy notices the Burmy is dizzied from the strike. He scrambles for a pokeball before throwing it at the dazed bagworm Pokemon, succesfully catching it. He smiles. "My second member! Professor look, I did it!"

He watches the cadets and the trainers for a moment. Does he not have to go through that or does Zenit need him to do something before that? Either way, he'll just follow through for now, not like he has an option anyways...That comment about Prof. Edi he'll have to keep note though.

'The jungle doesn't sound too bad. Maybe there's a better pokemon for my team and if not, I can just feed my homesickness and checking out what sort of flora is around sounds interesting, at least better than training.' Almerad thought.

"Ah, how about the jungle? I used to live there so I'll probably be more familiar with it...But what am I going to do there? I don't expect you to just, let me explore freely." There was a hint of suspicion in his voice.

Well… Zenit continues you will stop the few mega Pokémon living there. Prof Edi claims that there is only one of each kind living in areas. The recruits…may of them only have under leveled Pokémon and…sigh. Wish you good luck. My brother Zagreb will lead you into the jungle. Make your way into the flying Pokémon helipad. The Pokémon will fly you to the jungle. Hope you don’t… err die or something!

"...Sure! That sounds fun, what's the worst that could happen! Sure you're sending a child to their imminent death, but at least I'll die happy." Almerad lets out a chuckle before skipping towards the helipad, Phantump floating just beside him with excited and cheerful boos.

"We're gonna have rock in that jungle Phantump- no, Silas is your name now! Yeah, we're going to rock that jungle and every pokemon in it!" A loud cheer from the duo before they stand before the helipad, Almerad smiles up at the man waiting nearby. "Hey, are you that lady's brother? She told me you're our ride."

You there? What are you here for? Oh really? A kid like you in the jungle? You’ll surely starve to death with your camp mates. The jungle to filled with too much Pokémon. By too much I mean TOO much. May arceus bless you. There is like a zero percent chance you are the second one Alive. First is me.

Anyways if you want to, take these. You need it.

Oddish leaves obtained!
Ride call obtained!

Lv increaser increases your Pokémon’s lv if you really need to speed up. Ask me for upgrades when you have what I WANT. You don’t and you will be at the stake of shame. Ride call allows you to travel with a ride Pokémon. And oddish leaves boost your Pokémon in battle but make them confused. Don’t sniff it though. Only in dire circumstances. Since you’re going to the jungle, pick an area to go to

"Pft, your warnings are wasted mister. I lived in the jungle, I know how to handle these, we'll be fine!"

As the man gives Almerad the new items, he looks over them for a bit before raising an eyebrow. "You sure put a lot of trust on a random kid you all just found randomly. I'm starting to think those cadets and trainers are just meat shields for you guys." He then looks at the Oddish leaves with scrutiny. "...Is this w-!?" Silas quickly covers Almerad's mouth and taking away the leaves, putting it into his backpack with a resound boo.\

"Ugh...anyways, thanks for the items, I guess. Though you really are sending me to my death wish if you're not telling me which area is what so...lucky number 4 it is!"

Okay then number 4 it is… the other cadets who are going to number 4 are also lined up.okay lads! My names Zagreb and this is the last one you will be seeing me. You will be facing mega venusaur! Get strapped up! It will take just 30 minutes. Remember all your err… training l even though you most likely have none! Just attack the Pokémon with whatever you have.
