Pokemon Daycare

A Purrfect Day

A few months ago, a new daycare had opened up. It was a beautiful colorful building with a playground next to it. There was beautiful pond only a few yards back that was filled with plants. The sun was rising, pouring into the window with soft golden colors, when the bell at the front door rang.

"Hello! Welcome to Wonderland Daycare! How may I help you?" Karma, the owner of the daycare, put a polite smile on their face as the man entered.

"Hello." The man smiled back, only his was a tired weak smile. "My had kittens and I don't know who to turn to. Someone said they were going to pick some up but they never came. Can you help me raise them until my family has the resources to take care of them?"

"Sure thing!" The man put down two Pokeballs on the counter and after the details were worked out, he left.

"Let's see what we have here..." Karma picked up the Pokeballs and released the inside. One was longer than the other while the second was also a bit chubbier. "Hmm... This might get confusing so for now I'll give you names!" The shorter seemed excited about the idea, while the other was more skittish and seemed uncomfortable in its new temporary home. Karma pointed at the more skittish one. "You can be Rose," They turned to the more outgoing one. "and you can be Tulip!"

Tulip was excited at its new name and bounced happily while Rose seemed indifferent and looked for a good hiding spot.
