"Um, need help?" Paiyoon asked Fortevera. They had a room here? Maybe they new more information about what was happening. Plus plants were awesome.

Fortevera turns around, smiling wide at the first person who talked to her that was not staff or shoved aside by a shield bash. "Oh? Nothing to worry about, I'll write them what they need to know." She opens her bag, showing her closest friend: her peony. "Don't want any of my friends to dry out."

Fortevera clearly didn't realize that Paiyoon wanted to speak with them, and see if the two of them could figure out some more of "Chris's" plans. She peered into the bag, taking in the colorful flower.

"It's beautiful," She said, smiling warmly at the flowers. She had always hung plants in her shop; the mental health benefits alone made it worth it. "Of course, your flowers must be protected." She nodded, allowing her to go run her errand.

Yuna decided to stay in the room where everyone will be meeting up for the trip to the Crystal Castle, "I just hope it will be a calm and relaxing trip to the Crystal Castle that will be filled with interesting information and beautiful sights", Yuna said with determination. She then looked at Chris with intrigue hoping that there is nothing wrong with that tour guide, Yuna warmed up her hands and soon used her ice powers to keep the room a bit chill.

Fortevera smiles again, her little garland that she wore blossomed as she did. "Ah, a person of culture! Glad to meet you! I'm Fortevera!" She extends her hand, looking at Chris again. "I hope he and his staff are as cultured about the plants as you and me."

"Mmm, I wouldn't count on it. Most people are rather ignorant, not just with their plant-related knowledge. The name's Paiyoon." She reached up to shake Fortevera's hand. Her four foot stature needlessly complicated the simple gesture.

"Now... you got any idea what this 'expedition' is really about?" Paiyoon lowered her voice, glancing over at Chris furtively.

Fortevera shakes her hand and tries to be gentle, as the 7'1 Alraunian did not want to crush her potentially new friend. "It's a shame how many are ignorant of the gifts of nature... and no, I don't. But I don't mind either, at worst, we charge out of the castle."

As Yuna continued to stay in the room where everyone will go to the Crystal Castle, she continued to make that room a relaxing one by keeping it slightly chill, her only worry is that she doesn't freeze Chris or any other people that will be going to that Crystal Castle. "I think that's good", Yuna said as she stopped her ice powers, "Hopefully no one will see my special thing because if they did I will be in trouble".

"Yes, green thumbs are getting rarer and rarer. Plus the idiots want to expand their cities through the thickest forests." She rolled her eyes, annoyed at these hypothetical people.

"An escape plan would be rather useful," she said. "Unfortunately, I'm rather unfamiliar with this Crystal Castle," Paiyoon sighed, glancing over at Chris again in exasperation.

The pervasive chill swept through the room again. It was the talkative girl... seriously, who did she think she was fooling? Paiyoon ignored the obvious ice magic, keeping her focus on Fortevera.

Paiyoon peered over at Kira, and nodded. "If anyone thinks this is normal, they must be rather oblivious. Shoddiest cover story I've ever heard. But of course, the true nature of this 'special class mission' remains to be seen." Paiyoon knew that Kira was probably talking to Fortevera, but it wouldn't hurt to perhaps make another ally.

Fortevera laughs, looking down at her and just shrugging. "It's not the size of the plant that makes it deadly, but the poison it has. Paiyoon laughed despite herself. Fortevera's metaphors were well-timed. "Thank you. And if we ever find ourselves with our backs against the wall in a barfight, I'll be on your side, don't worry. Or I suppose, if our backs are against a castle gate. The lack of information is starting to get... frustrating."

Illura nodded at Paiyoon, extending a hand for them to shake. "Kira, at your service. I'm better known as the quasi-immortal historian, i travel worlds to chronical the stories of them all. I have a knack for sensing danger, and thus place is setting all of my cowbells off at once. I don't think it's a good idea to continue, or leave this program. I hope that we can be allies, since you two seem trustworthy enough."

Fortevera didn't really care about whatever that interdimensional stuff was. She just likes how they started to bond and cheer. "I'm glad this dumb silence is now a thing of the past. So what do you say, we go to this castle. What's the worst that can happen?"
