"Well, I for one like it. Many people
just complain about their shortness or wanna compensate for it.
Money, power, heels. But life is so much more than just reaching
something on the high shelf. I am glad you are able to see
it." Illaoi smiles, as they walk past a large temple. The
temple itself was made from sandstone and had a lot of depictions
of tentacles, snakes and looked similar to Illaoi's tattoos.
"This is the Mother Serpent's temple. It
is where I usually live. The place you are looking for is further
up. I will guide you there, if you like, but then you will wait
here for a minute or two. You decide."

Shoot them before they shoot you.
Auspice thought for a moment, thinking about the wisest decision.
"You can guide us, I don't mind waiting a minute or two, it's not
that long~" She laughed, now looking at the temple the priestess
pointed to.
Illaoi nods and goes into the temple, the gates that were twice her
size opening for her. Iteral just smiles. "Guess you made a new
friend, huh? Whatcha think?"
You know the first rule in combat?

Auspice nodded, crossing her arms as she watched her new friend
depart. "Supposedly. I think she is quite nice. I thought I was
going to have to kill her later... but she is save... for now." She
let out a joking giggle, turning to face Iteral.
"Yeah, she's really devoted but a kind one. Her belief is that life
should never stand still, but move and change. There is a reason
why we get along... time is like that. Oh and she kept trying to
test me but failed." She laughs and hits her own chest a bit in
pride.

"Ah, I see. I know a lot of devoted people, but they are all
dedicated to one 'god'. The Witness. Rhulk is one of its...
Disciples. To bring about the Final Shape. The end of all things.
Though, a part of be doubts that would happen. No one never really
has succeeded in trying to 'end the world'." She mumbled, looking
back at the temple.
"The end of the world, huh? Had my fair share of those." Iteral
rolls her eyes, laughing a bit and looking into her pockets, taking
out the drink she still had from the tavern, drinking it. "So
annoying... like what does the end of the world bring you?"
You know the first rule in combat?
Shoot them before they shoot you.
She let out a low growl before responding. "Peace. It brings peace.
There would be no more light. Only darkness. Once the end of the
universes happen... I could finally be at rest, knowing that we are
free."
"But... correct me if I am wrong but isn't conflict a proof of
freedom? The freedom to believe in something else, to be able to
change other people's lives? If you live in a society where all is
identical, wouldn't you have less?" Iteral thought, shrugging. "I
have no idea of that, I'm unhinged even from time itself. So I got
like... one of the highest degrees of freedom."

"I-I- Hmmm..." Auspice was now put into a long process of
contemplation, thinking hard on what Iteral has just told her.
"I-I- I suppose that is true, in a way... but I don't judge that.
If you are going to convince someone and will actually change
anything, ask the Witness, I suppose."
"I heard of them, they don't seem like the guy you can just invite
to a café and talk to... unless you can, in which case, you know
exactly where I would take him." The idea of the Witness being
catered to by Cafe Cuties makes Iteral smile. "You serve the
Witness... or are Rhulk and you more just aligned with them?"
You know the first rule in combat?
Shoot them before they shoot you.
"Ah, we serve the Witness. Though, I am just... well, a Disciple
Initiate, I guess, which is why I don't wear the armor the
Disciples seem to wear, at the moment..." As Auspice spoke, she
knew that Iteral would be planning to take the Witness to a Café...
if that was possible. Nonetheless, it seemed like a fun idea, but
she didn't say anything about it.
"Do you want to be a Disciple soon? Or even ascend higher?" Iteral
seems pretty relaxed about the fact that her friend wanted to bring
eternal darkness to her world. "Or are you fine with your current
role?"
You know the first rule in combat?
Shoot them before they shoot you.
"Disciple is only the highest rank, and I do wish to be one. I
could lead armies... just like Rhulk and Calus can. It sounds
fun... having your own Pyramid and your own Legions."
"I dunno, that would also mean you'd be trapped in your own
pyramids and we couldn't go out anymore. I liked our adventures so
far..." Iteral realized her choice of words and blushes a bit.
"I-In a friendly way! Just friends! Yes!"
You know the first rule in combat?
Shoot them before they shoot you.
Auspice, too, blushes, but it obviously couldn't be seen, but it
could be barely heard due to her slightly quickened breathing. "I-
It's fine! I knew that!" She looks to the ground, her helmet coming
off, and she pulls down her hood. Her blushing face was slightly
visible, since she was looking at the ground. "B-But not all
Disciples are trapped in their Pyramid, although most are... just
hope Savathun doesn't curse me into one."
"W-Well, if Savathûn thinks she can confine my new best friend into
a pyramid, she's got another thing co-" Iteral realized her
friendly freudian slip and just blushes more. Illaoi was about to
return but... she saw the two blushing friends and decides to just
watch from the temple doors a while longer, to see where this goes.
You know the first rule in combat?
Shoot them before they shoot you.
Auspice, too, blushes more, since... well, she isn't used to this.
"O-Oh... oh by the Witness-" She stuttered out. She hasn't felt
this way to anyone, but Rhulk. She slowly turned to Iteral,
revealing her flushed face, but then looked at the temple, seeing
Illaoi walking back in. She didn't mind waiting another minute...
Iteral was blushing just as much as her friend, hiding her face in
just her hands, since her hood was down. "I, ehhhhh, well... I
could turn time back... and make this not happen but..." She gulps,
then nodding at Auspice. "Eh, screw it. You're my best friend. Many
others hate me or abandon me or mistreat me. You don't. Hope you
don't mind."
You know the first rule in combat?
Shoot them before they shoot you.
Her blushing wore down, the let out a small giggle before hugging
Iteral. "Of course. You are a good bestie, and you don't deserve to
be treated wrongly. No one does. Alright? No need to rewind time~ I
liked growing our friendship~" She let out a teasing, short laugh
as she let go of the hug.
