I will agree he is pretty overrated. Even as a froakie stan I must agree. But NOTHING is more overrated than Pikachu.

I think that pretty much all of gen 1 is VERY overrated. ESPECIALLY CHARIZARD!
no underrated.

(clumsy and gets in the way trying to help everywhere he can XDDD)

RapidStream is very shy and so if he talks to you maybe act surprised (or if he talks at all :|)

Froakie is a very unique and perfect example of what a starter can be. While he is the favorite of the community, I honestly don't see him as overrated. He has recieved almost zero attention since gen 6. Unlike some of our favorite non-dragons (*cough* charizard *cough*). The only reason he can be overrated is because he gets so much attention from the company and the games. He is a very good pokemon who people are just tired of.

I agree with warden07. I personally don't see Froakie as overrated mainly because I don't see much attention toward Froakie as much as Squirtle and Mudkip seem to have.
