I will update anytime, really depends on my mood.
I don't have the widest vocabulary so yeah-

“What brings a pitiful being into our lair?!” they boom. Their seven heads stare down at me. They were as terrifying as the rumors say. With their piercing, golden eyes and their bluish-gray scales, they were a sight to behold.
“I am here to acquire the Lightning Prism!” I replied. The air around me thickened. Thunder can be heard above me. I gripped my staff tightly, trying to remember the best defensive spell I knew. They then burst into laughter.
“Why should we give you the prism?” they asked. “Why would we give it to a stupid human like you?” They continued laughing. I grabbed my sack and pulled out the other six prisms. Their laughter stopped as they saw the glowing crystals. They looked at each other, muttering something amongst themselves, then they looked back at me.
“You managed to get the other six prisms?” they questioned. They looked at me with suspicion.
“Of course I did,” I replied.
“You are seeking The Holy Beast?” they asked. I nodded.
“Well, you must deal with us if you want the prism.” they grinned. They probably haven't battled with anyone for a long time.
“I know and I am ready,”
They opened their mouths and began to charge up their attacks. My eyes glowed as I felt the power flow into me. This was going to be one loud battle.
“Do you know how one can learn Dark Magic?” Malis asks. She floats right in front of me. I stare deep into her bright blue eyes.
“You give it to them?” I reply, not really sure about my answer. She floats backward and sits down on the ground. The starry ground makes it seem like she’s floating.
“Well, yes and no,” She says. “I don’t give it to them directly. They just let it in.”
“What do you mean?” I asked in confusion. Luxum appears beside her, joining in our conversation.
“Do you know what gives power to your Light Magic?” he asks.
“Yes, my emotions. My positive emotions,” I reply.
“So what do you need to give power to Dark Magic?” he asks. They remind me of parents explaining something to a little child.
“Negative emotions?” I ask.
“Yes, negative emotions. Sadness, anger, regret, and so on,” Malis says.
“And how is this related to learning Dark Magic?” I ask. Malis sighs. She seems annoyed.
“What is one thing that all the people with Dark Magic have in common?” she asks.
“Err…”
“They all have experienced trauma,” she says, answering her own question. It makes sense. One was abused as a child. Another was betrayed by the person he loved. The last one witnessed his parent’s death.
“When one experiences such immense feelings or emotions such as losing a loved one, their mind is clouded with negativity. They bring the darkness into them. They bring my magic into them, thus learning Dark Magic.”
She couldn't understand why this was happening to her. She knew she didn't deserve this, so why was this happening? One day, she was walking around in public like an average person. The next thing she knew, she was being hunted down by every living person who saw her: government freaks, bounty hunters, fellow mutts, and even regular people. All of the people whom she considered her friends were now her worst enemies. She couldn't take it anymore. She wanted to cry and shout, and violently stab that stupid scientist, that damn scientist who messed with the meteorite. The damn scientist who caused the explosion and the Great Mutation of humanity, fauna, and flora. The damn scientist who gave her a golden eye. An eye that everyone is hunting for.
He couldn't understand why they were at war. He couldn't understand why his army had to camp at the base of Zeruun Mountain. The mountain that lies on the outskirts of the Dracaunian Territory. He gazed at the top of the mountain. On the other side of this mountain, the Dracaunians thrived and remained there for thousands of years. The Dracauniuns were probably the most powerful beings out there. At first glance, one would mistake them as humans, but don't be fooled by their disguises. Their actual forms are these dragon-like creatures. They are powerful magic users and have been known to be successful in wars. Everyone knows that they have participated in only two wars, but these wars were two of the three major wars that forever changed the history of Xenyla. The War of Frostbite was one of them, a cold and bloody war that made anyone shiver in fear if it was mentioned. The other war was the Sky Wars, a series of battles that turned the sky a shade of bloody red for years (according to history books). Stories say that the Dracaunians fought in these wars without losing any soldiers. This wasn't true (hopefully), but this still made him shudder.
Keru was the general of the Starcoast Army. An army that specializes in disguising themselves and ambushing their opponents. Because of this, the king believes his army could stand a chance against the Dracaunians. If the Dracaunians decided to attack their kingdom, they had to pass over the Zeruun Mountain. If they did, he and his army could defeat them. If they couldn't, they were at least strong enough to hold them back long enough for the other armies to prepare.
"General," a voice said behind him. He turned around to see Yama, his assistant, "I have some news."
"Is it about the scouts we sent this morning?" he asked.
"Yes," Yama said with a serious look on his face, "they're dead."
"WHAT!" he roared. How could the scouts die? They were one of the finest spies he had. Now they were dead. Keru took a deep breath. It isn't good to let emotions distract you. "How did you find out?"
"One of the scouts came back. They were missing an arm. When we asked him about the others, he says that they were all killed," Yama said.
"Killed by what?" he asked.
"Dracaunians"
The two were staring at each other. He was shocked. Dracaunians? Here? Now? Did they find their base? No, it can't be. The entire army worked together to make a barrier that would hide them from all of their enemies. It was one of their many great skills as an army.
"Where is he? The scout!" Keru exclaims. This was bad. No, this was terrible. They might be doomed.
"At the healing tent," Yama says. "He's unconscious right now."
"Well, that damn idiot has no right to be unconscious!" he says as he storms towards the tent. He is so going to kill him.
Keru barges into the tent. He looks around to find the surviving scout. The healing tent was pretty big, enough for 20 injured people and 5 healers. The place didn't have any medical supplies. All of the soldiers had to learn basic healing spells. The healers of the armies were the ones tasked to learn the advanced regeneration spells. The tent was empty right now. It was nearly midnight so everybody is at their designated tents.
"General Keru," a voice whispered from a corner. Keru lit one of the lanterns to see who this was. The lantern shined brightly with purple flames as he held it toward the direction of the voice.
"I am so, so sorry. I have failed you," the lantern reveals the mysterious person. It was Leru, the captain of the scouting squad. He was on one of the beds. He had small bandages on one of his cheeks. One side of his body was covered with bandages, all stained with dried blood. Keru storms towards him. He grabs Leru by the collar and pulls Leru towards him. Fear was in his eyes as he stared at his general, smothering with rage.
"You moron! Do you know what you have done?! You lead the Dracaunians into our base! Even if they can't see it, they will know that something is there!" Keru angrily yells at him.
"They already know! They can see us through our spell. Please brother, there's something important that I have to tell you," Leru begs. Keru puts him down. Although he wanted to punch him super bad, Leru was his younger brother. He would never do that to him. Leru looks up at him. Tears were dripping down his cheek.
"We need to leave, now. The Dracaunians are giving us until sunrise to leave. They killed all of my members with ease. They were immune to our attacks, brother! We are going to die! Please, we need to leave or else they will kill us all!" Leru exclaims as he starts to cry. "We are doomed!"
"Shut up, Leru!" Keru yells as he slaps him. Leru looked at him with shock. That look in his eyes felt like needles stabbing his back. "We won't die. We will never die. Stop crying! We are soldiers, not cowards. We will never die! Get up, I'm calling an emergency meeting."
Keru runs out of the healing tent and towards the middle of the base. There stood a bell. A spell was casted on it. Whenever the bell was rung, anyone who was sleeping would wake up. The bell was loud but its sound can only be heard within the barrier the army set up. Keru grabs the rope of the bell and tolls the bell. A few seconds later, people started running out of their tents. Most of them looked tired but Keru didn't care. This was important. People started crowding as Keru walked up a large stage-like platform beside the bell. As he walked toward the middle, everyone was quiet.
"My fellow soldiers, I know it is nearly midnight and we are all tired but this is important," Keru takes a deep breath. "The Dracaunians have found our base."
"This has got to be a joke!"
"What!? But our barrier is hiding us!"
"Are we gonna die, I haven't confessed my love yet!"
"This is too soon!"
People began to yell as they started to panic. Keru knew that this would happen. How is he supposed to calm them down now?
"QUIET!"
Everyone went silent. Yama was standing in front of the crowd. Everyone was looking at him. Thank the gods for giving him such a helpful assistant.
"General Keru will explain everything." Yama continues as he looks at him. Giving him the "do it now" look.
"This morning, we sent a squad of our finest scouts to climb up the mountain to be our lookout. They were unfortunately ambushed by the Dracaunians. All but one were killed. That one person was carrying a message from the Dracaunians. They know that we are here. They can see us through our barrier. They want us to leave this morning without a fight," Keru explains. "Without a fight? My men, are we going to leave without a fight?!"
"No, we'll not!"
"Yeah, that's right." Keru felt proud. Whatever the situation is, he knew that his men would always stick with him. He turned his head towards the peak of Zeruun Mountain.
"Yeah! You heard that you dirty-playing Dracaunians! We will never leave without a fight. We are humans! We are proud and strong!" Keru yells. All of his men began to cheer.
RRRRRUUUUUAAAAAAAHHHHHH
And right after that ear-splitting roar, hundreds of dragons rained from the sky, teeth bared and claws ready to tear them to shreds. But these dragons weren't the problem, on the peak of Zeruun Mountain stood the biggest dragon he had ever seen. Its four wings were stretched open, covering the moon. There were silver scales on the undersides of its wings, resembling the stars in the night sky. It was hard to spot it but it was there. Staring down at them with its six glowing, white eyes. He looked around to see the Dracaunians massacring his army with ease. They dodged and blocked all of his soldiers' attacks. They really were doomed.

Like the sun you are
Shining with all your glory
And I watch afar,
A sunflower I may be
At night, I bend my head down
No moon or star shall make me faze
For their beauty, I turn down
Only accepting your blinding rays
Like the sun, you merely pass by
I, a flower, you won't see
But amongst the grass, I forever lie
Awaiting for the day you notice me

Sometimes, the sky is a dull grey. Towering clouds stare down upon us. Rain falls from the sky like the leaves of a tree. Lightning dances on the clouds, flashing and booming. The mighty wind howls as it makes mighty trees bow to its whim. The smell of the wind after a downpour is amazing.
Sometimes, the sky is an eye-catching orange, with a dash of gold and pink. Streaks of pinkish clouds scattered across the canvas-like sky. The golden sun hides behind the shimmering sea. The sea breeze is something one must experience at least once in their lifetime.
Sometimes, the sky is completely black. Stars sprinkled on the sky like table salt, shimmering in the distance. The moon is like a spotlight, shining brightly like the sun. The cold night wind gives you chills. Once in a while, a shooting star blazes across the sky. Far north or south, auroras are dancing across the sky with grace.
Oh, how I love the sky, the ever-lasting sky. Every time I look up, I feel free.
Free..
Free....
I want to be free.
Please...
