Was that... Bill? He was being strangled by some evil skeleton guy. Not good. Slicing the last few annoying useless cloaked guys, she leapt at the evil skeleton guy using her superspeed, and tackled him to the ground.

Well, this was different. A much needed break from the monotonous battle just now. She opened a telepathy link, effectively receiving the exact locations he was going to strike and dodging all his attacks, while fitting in a few slashes and cuts.

Athena stumbled a bit. She was getting quite a headache. The emotion wave combined with the dark thoughts she was receiving was quite the load. Forcefully breaking the telepathic connection, she fought away the ill feelings.

Athena was doing pretty well, until one of the tentacles caught her square in the chest. Flying backwards, another tentacle grabbed her around her waist, trapping her arms and making it impossible to use her sword.

How very annoying. Athena's superspeed let her dodge the attacks, but like last time, it would only be a matter of time before a lucky strike got her. She couldn't keep running around in circles forever.
