The Final Hour RP
Forum-Index → Roleplay → The Final Hour RPThen he walks over to the dummies. "I'm going to teach you all how to charge your attacks. You see, you can infuse magic into your weapon momentarily to create a strong attack, however, magic is not necessary." He pauses to let them absorb this information. "You can actually, and this may be easier for Draykens, tighten up your muscles to 'charge' your attack, and send a bout of wind behind it, like this."
He walks over to one of the dummies, acts like he's about to swing, and tightens his arm. Then he swings with his arms tight, and hacks the dummy's side. A gust of wind follows his sword in rapid succession, taking the dummy off the sword and sending it several feet away.
"Now ya'll try it."
Ayran walked over to one of the dummies (that hasn't been smashed to pieces) and got into his stance, tightened his arm muscles, and swung!
It was a perfect charge!
Even though he didn't use much power, the dummie still got battened into pieces, with the following strong gust of wind, sweeping the pieces of the dummies far, far away.
'Sigh.. I really am rusty..' Ayran sighed disappointingly, he could've done much, much better, but oh well, these days he did lack practice.
"Hello! I seem to be late, sorry about that. Got stuck in a bit of traffic." She smiled sweetly.
Let me tell you a secret,
The real monsters don't look like monsters~
...everyone here was playing with swords.
She shrugged, and walked in anyway. "Cath. Human. Mage." She said shortly, looking at the same teacher who had dumped Chikari's body on the grounds unceremoniously. It was like he had never existed. She grumbled to herself, annoyed at the lack of respect. Where she came from, they remembered and honored their dead.
She blinked at Athena, and then turned away. Fyverns rarely deigned to associate with dark mages like her.

Dark magic users don't usually get much respect so they are hidden themselves very well, but their own people could sense dark magic right away.
Seeing that, it was the girl from before, Ayran turned his head back, 'Oh well, it's none of my business.'
After he's done, he walks over to Ayran. "This is too easy for you since you are a Drayken, yes?" He pushes his glasses again. "I want you to try to cut that dummy in half - solely with the wind of your sword."
Scarlett repeats the move over and over until she finally gets a small bit of wind. "Ha!"
She dipped her head in acknowledgement. "Hello, Miss Lediana." Cath was polite, and gave her the barest hint of a smile. She imagined how eerie it must look on her face.
Stupid Ayran was watching her again. Didn't he know she could feel his eyes boring into her? It was ever so rude of him, especially since they were two of the only dark magic users in the school. Cath supposed in another world, they could have been friends.

Ayran got back into his stance, tightening his arm muscles, but this time, his grip on the sword tightens, Ayran watches the dummy and swung. The swung happened in less than a minute, but the force it pack was immense.
'Sh*t, I really should've practiced more! Why am I so rusty! T-T'
This time, the dummy lasted for a second, before cracks started forming on the top of it, before it completely split in half down the middle. The gust of wind was stronger than the last, but the dummy was only blowned a few feet away.
A jet of shadow magic shot from her fingers, disintegrating a cluster of a dozen dummies in the corner. That was how you took care of enemies, not this pretentious swordplay. She stalked over to them, and realized a little belatedly that these dummies had been the ones that were being switched into position each time one of her fellow students destroyed one. Oops.
She smirked, and crouched down to the floor. With a breath of air, a cloud of ash took to the sky, the only remnant of the inanimate figurines who had stood there a moment earlier.

So he just kept going, though this time, the smile on his face was gone, instead it was just a blank look, like he was bored out of this world, not wanting to be bothered, at the same time distant.
After hearing the word stop, Ayran stopped his daze and looked over.
