Deep in the depths of Hell, there were two "godesses". One was a anubis god, and the other, a lamb demi-god, serving their purposes. Rhuna, a god of death and judgement, and the demigod Yeka of Hell. Both gods did their everyday things naturally, so both were very busy and probably hardly ever got a break. Assuming both were working very hard... their parents let them have a day of... at the same day, which let them to meet each other...

...and they never knew how attracted they would be with eachother.

Rhuna just got off her daily task of watching over the souls of hell, and her father, Anubis, let her off for the day for working so hard. She was rather quite bored and walked among the Hall of Royalty, where the gods of Hell would walk and speak with each other. She was quite alone though, so no one hardly ever spoke to her. It was understandable though. Who would even walk up to someone who speaks with the dead and wears a mysterious cloak? Not to mention, Rhuna always keeps her hood down low too. She kept her head low, not paying any attention and could possibly run into ANYONE.

Finally, after so long, Yekaterina was free to roam the city. She liked Hell, sure, but she knew it like the back of her hand at this point. Everything usually always stayed the same. She couldn't be bothered to affiliate with such lowly beings that she decided to wear several veils to cover herself. She walked down the corridor of her estate, looking up at the sky.

Rhuna... thought the royal halls were quite boring, and wanted to discover more. She turned to the exit of the 'ball' and walked out. "That damn place is just filthy..." She snarled as she walked out and into the trashy cities of hell. So many demons and other creatures, just murdering each other and doing other things as usual. She continued walking lowly until she bumped into someone. "Oh my goodness, are you okay?" Rhuna panicked as she turned to the girl in veils. Unlike the other creatures in hell, she was a bit more... 'kindhearted'.

Yekaterina shook her head quickly to readjust her herself. "I'm fine, I'm fine. Just make sure you keep your hood a little farther up to see where you're going, okay?" She seemed to be what one could call overdressed out in public.

Rhuna nodded. "Y-Yeah... its a habit of mine... I just get scared of the bastards here on the streets, ya know? Dirty little bastards." She shook her head. "You don't seem like them, though. What is your name and occupation?" Her right ear twitched as she asked.

"You dare ask the occupation of royalty?" Yekaterina was still flustered from the fall. How had she not seen this person?" Her ears dropped under her veil, she simply looked around. "Tell me your name and occupation."

"O-Oh... sorry madam..." Rhuna spoke quietly and looked down. "My name is Rhuna. Daughter of Anubis, god of death and judgement." She responded. Rhuna was not a liar like most people in hell. She adjusted her silver 'collar' to its proper place as she said so.

"Oh? A god?" She looked her up and down. "I know Anubis. I've met him once or twice, when I was a little girl. My mother and father visit him sometimes." She took a step back. "Well... It was nice to meet you, Rhuna. I must be going now."

Rhuna's right ear twitched again. "Wait-! We just met though.. don't you think we should get to know each other more? Its not everyday you see a demon or hellish creature not trying to kill you or anything of the sort." She asked when Yeka was about to walk away. "And... I assume you are Yekaterina? The demi-god of Hell itself? Daughter of Satan?"

She stopped and turned around at the mention of her name. "Hm... Fine." She walked back over to her and handed her a letter- an invitation. "My mother and father are hosting a party. Take that to your father, tell him you're both invited." She glanced up at her one more time. "It's a masquerade ball. You can learn more about me there."

Rhuna nodded. "Sounds like a plan. I'll go ask. Thank you, your highness." Rhuna stood there and read the letter for a few moments, and then sighed. "I'll be off to ask now. See ya at the ball." She chuckled as she walked away, continuing to read the letter. She held the letter cautiously, making sure it was not to rip. She finally made it to where her father was, taking over her job. "Father." Rhuna sighed as she looked up to her father. "The royal daughter of Satan sent me an invite to join the masquerade ball. Do you think I can go?" Rhuna held the letter close to her chest, hoping for approval. Anubis sighed. "Fine... but I am coming with you. I'll have your brother Osiris take over the job for the moment. Lets get you properly dressed." Rhuna's father smiled with kindness as he took her to her wardrobe, putting on beautiful black robes with silver jewelry, like bangles, necklaces, ect. "Thanks father." She whispered as she looked at herself in a mirror.

Yekaterina made sure she was ready, wearing a white lolita styled dress and heels, along with an ornate mask. "Ready, Yekaterina?"

"Ready, father." She nodded and walked with him to the ballroom, where she looked around at the orchestra and food and servants and guests. It was boring to her. Like any other party.

Rhuna and Anubis finally entered the ball. Rhuna looked around at the ball. Quite a pretty place for it being in hell. Rhuna walked up to one of the tables with drinks and got herself whatever she liked and poured it into one of the wine glasses, waiting for either Yeka to notice her, or the other way around. A lot of people talked, so it was filled with laughed and cursing. "Good riddance." Rhuna rolled her eyes and whispered to herself at all the cursing going on around her. Anubis stood next to her, making sure she was alright.

"Ah, Anubis. My friend." Satan smiled and greeted him. "A pleasure to see you again. My daughter here told me she gave you her invitation? It's nice of you to grace us with your presence. Is that your daughter? I didn't know you had one." Yekaterina stared blankly at Rhuna, like she was lost in thought. Her ears flicked in annoyance, looking away eventually. The ball bored her so much, she couldn't really pretend to be happy about it anymore.

"Pleasure to see you too, old friend." Anubis greeted him back and laughed. "Yeah. Thats my daughter Rhuna. One of the youngest of my children." Rhuna looked up at Satan and waved, turning back to Yeka and walking up to her. "Hi again... the ball is very... hectic... so much cursing and laughing... a little crazy... don't you think?" She asked and smiled coyly to the demi-god.

"Yekaterina, mind your manners." Her father scolded her, pushing her forward a bit. "Why don't you two spend some time together? I'm sure you could use a friend or two." She grimaced, hanging her head low.

Rhuna nodded. "Hey Yeka... what do you like to do... ya'know? Are you like the other demons of hell?" Her right ear twitched at her own question, tilting her head slightly. Anubis turned to Satan. "How about we go have some fatherly talk in the godly hall? Let them have some alone time." Anubis requested, adjusting his golden staff.

"Yes, let's go." Satan nodded, following Anubis. Yekaterina made of face of mild disgust.

"Yeka..? That's not my name." She took her mask off, revealing her face to Rhuna for the first time and walked next to her, to the garden. "I like to read, I suppose. And stroll in the garden. It's always peaceful. Until my mother comes around, then it gets too loud again." She glanced up at Rhuna a few times.

Rhuna shook her head. "It isn't? Okay then..." She spoke as she followed Yeka to the garden. A garden in hell? Wow. Thats new. "I like reading too! What type of books? I like reading spell books... and books about prophecies. And... your mother..? I never saw my mother. She died before I ever got to see her." Rhuna's ears were normally stabilized, but for the first few times, they dropped down.

"Sorry to hear that. My mother doesn't like me, anyway, so it doesn't matter to me." Her ears perked up at the mention of spell books. "You read spell books too? I have a whole library full of them!" She seemed to be in a much better mood.
