Pokémon Ruby and ORAS! Yes I’m a Gen 3 person lol- I really resonated with May for whatever reason back when I was really young, even though I also played FireRed at the same time. The designs are the ones I am also most drawn to (Ralts line, Mudkip line, Numel line), and I actually enjoyed the story greatly. The rivalry between Team Magma and Aqua was very well written but maybe I am simply biased?? Oh and contests. I’m a sucker for the Pokémon Contests.

Pokemon X & Y! I like the customization, the world, the story was meh but it was still really fun. No games ever lived up to it for me.

mine is pokémon x solely for nostalgic reasons, it was the first game of pokémon i truly took the time for to play and its the game that made me love the franchise
