It has happened many times that I’ll be tapping away at the Online
clicklist and then, all of a sudden, the green bar disappears and
the next Pokémon doesn’t show up, no matter how many times I tap
the one currently showing. I’ve often tried rebooting my phone and
everything but I always end up having to wait a long time for it to
right itself. And now that it’s happened again, and I thought it
was working again, I only got to do about a dozen interactions
before it happened again.
This has only been happening with the Online clicklist.
When I go to it now, it’s just blank underneath the green “you have
started a new clicklist” banner. Nothing I can do with it.
I just turned my phone off for a while and came back to it and it’s
still blank when I tap on it, even though it says there are 400
Pokémon there waiting to be clicked.
I think this happens, when you have clicked all available Pokemon
in the Online Clicklist. As the programming focusses on speed, it
does not always count properly, so it would still show you like a
handfull of available Pokemon, but in truth you already interacted
with all of them, and you get the screen you described.
Also, when it does happen like that with just a handful (always
less than twenty), it always immediately says that you’re finished
with the clicklist and boots you back to the previous page after
you click on it. It doesn’t stay frozen on the blank screen.
It’s just happened again, with *602* remaining this time.
Edit: Now it’s frozen with 613 remaining.
Edit 2: Now it says 612, after I did a few clicks in the Unreturned
Favors clicklist—apparently one of those was one of the more than
six hundred online ones that are hidden from me because of the
Online clicklist being frozen.
Had this happen before rarely, but now happening more frequently.
Just happened with over 600 left. Doesn't matter how many times I
check, just won't work.
It clears up eventually, just as mysteriously as it started.
Edit: Now it's half working, but freezing near 580 left. I wonder
if there's a bugged one in the mix it gets caught on or
something....
Wanted to pop in and say definitely something else going on here
besides the list running out and not counting properly. Mine froze
up at over 700 left.
I just joined yesterday and this has consistently been happening to
me on the "unreturned favors" list (which is primarily what I have
been using but I assume it would happen on other clicklists too).
Sometimes I can only get 20 or so clicks in before clicking just
stops having any effect and it will not show me the next Pokemon,
but I have also gotten up to 483 clicks before it stopped working.
Sometimes, after a few minutes sitting on the page and trying to
click on the Pokemon, clicking will miraculously work again and I
can continue with the clicklist; sometimes this does not occur and
I have to refresh the page and break my click chain to get it to
work again. And yes, all times this has occurred I have still had a
non-insignificant number of interactions left to return.
It hasn't really bothered me very much since I am not sure if long
click chains reap you any kind of benefit (if there is actually a
benefit to long click chains then it DOES bother me lol). I figured
I would look at the forums and see if this happens to anyone else,
and thought I should chime in with my experience.
It just happened again with 687 left after I did only a few
interactions there after I hadn’t touched the Online clicklist for
quite a while. And it has happened with the Unreturned Favors
clicklist as well.
This generally doesn't have an issue for most players. I find this
only happens when you have bad internet. I have also heard this
happens when you have an external application acting upon the
website
I'm not using any sort of extension if that's what the second part
means, and literally every other online thing works and.loada fine
for me when this happens.
I'm actually kinda chuckling because I clicked on the confirmed bug
link and lo and behold it's my old thread. I do also wonder if it's
the same issue come back to haunt us.
