My crobat has a mega stone and its over lvl 57 already. it used to be level 51 but its been 6 levels and still no mega evolution. is there an item i need for it to be able to mega evolve?

It needs to be holding the mega stone (the item), I believe.

I'm assuming your Crobat has an icon next to it, showing it's able to be mega-able . . . but you also need to be holding a Mega Stone as well
