Oplium is a massive island far away from any other known land. No humans live here, nevertheless even know it is something that exists. Thus its a sanctuary for pokemon to live with freedom.

Many of the pokemon here only know of humans as myths or legends. The population has never put that much thought to them. Ofcourse, that never stops conspiracy.

there are islands for different pokemon types such as:

Woodmark City-(Normal-Types)

Ignire-(Fire+Dragon+Rock+Ground-Types)

Hebri-(Grass+Bug+Poison-types)

Faet-(Fairy-types)

Silves-(Water-types)

Tundra-(Ice-types)

Pluma-(Flying-types)

Mirror City-(all types together)
