Mine is squirtle,because blastoise is awesome. Giant turtle with hydrolic cannons in its back=awesome,and everyone knows it.
P.S. Has anybody else noticed that the fire type starters follow the chinese zodiac?

Grovyle. Treecko was properly my very first Pokémon as Emerald was the first Pokémon game that belonged to me and not my sister. I remember I played it through the first time, and I loved Grovyle's sprite, so I never evolved him. When PMD: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky came out, my love for that little wood gecko increased tenfold. x3 (I have literally just copied and pasted this from one of my other posts as I can't be bothered to retype)

For all time favorite I'm stuck between Bulbasaur and Totodile.
But for each gen:
Gen 1: Bulbasaur
Gen 2: Totodile
Gen 3: Treecko
Gen 4: Turtwig
Gen 5: Oshawott
Gen 6: Chespin/Froakie. I don't like any of Chespin's other evos, and I like Froakie's second and third evos.

Treecko is my all-time favorite, but for the various regions:

Kanto: Charmander (I love Bulbasaur too, though)
Johto: Chikorita
Hoenn: Treecko
Sinnoh: Turtwig
Unova: Snivy
Kalos: Froakie (it's got the best evolutions in my opinion.)

Notice that most of these are Grass-types.

I love almost all fire type starters in general. Charmander is by far my favorite of all starters in terms of pre-evolution. When it comes to evolved forms of starters, then my favorite isn't even fire. I would have to go with Greninja

I love fire pokemon so I love all the fire starters except for one which is Tepig.. though he is so adorable until you evolve him.
