So basically, since Explorers Of Time and Darkness is going to be 15 years old this year in September.
I think that Spike Chunsoft will remake the game next year in 2023 in 3D with better visuals, soundtrack, etc.

But here is my ideas for it, if it is going to be made that is. (I will be editing this post to add more things)

1. Gameplay

- Keep the gameplay like in RTDX, but make more tweaks to it so it has new features.
- Make leveling up faster, like the original games by getting rid of the level up stats menu that appears every time you level up and make it like the original in a textbox.
- Keep the special episodes as unlockables.

2. Graphics and Animations

- Use completely new models with new armatures, so they can look good on Nintendo Switch hardware. You can use the ones from the original games, but make them look better.
- Keep the starters from RTDX, and allow them to be playable. Boosting the roster to 24-25 Pokemon
- Make entirely new animations, and upgrade the older ones so they can look fluent and so the Pokemon will have better animations that don't look choppy.
- Keep the graphical style in RTDX, but make it different during Darker Moments of the game.
- Better lighting, for example if you are in darker dungeons. The lighting should be darker.
- Allow players to choose between the original sprite style and the 3D style. The sprite style will have to be upscaled for Nintendo Switch hardware, but make it look better with more additional details.

3. Sounds and Music

- Remaster the soundtrack to make it sound even better, like they did in RTDX.
- Update the sounds, so that way some sounds are much more higher quality.
- Sky Jukebox should include the RTDX soundtrack, if you have a save file for RTDX on your Nintendo Switch system.

4. Cutscenes and Story

- Keep the story from the original, but add some additional stuff to it to make it better. (This is definitely needed for the Special Episodes)
- Make the cutscenes look better for certain moments in the game.

5. New features

- If you have a RTDX save file, allow us to transfer items and team members to the new game.
- Toggle between the Sprite Style and 3D Model style.
- Online Play, make it where we can play with other people. Like exploring in a dungeon together as a team, battle competitions, etc.
