Are there any specific strategies to get gems?

Also, is there a way to get more explorer bags?

You can get Gems from a lot of places.

You can get every type of gem from the following places;
- Opening Mystery Boxes
- Playing Golden Game Slot (Plus Mode)
- Getting randomly by answering correct at Royal Tunnel
- Rumbling*
- Palying Treasure Hunt at Game Center
- Filling Bulletin Board tasks which have gems in reward at Berry Garden.
- Fishing at Emera Beach
- Sending Plushies to users at Dream World Shop. (You get a random gem after sending every 5 DP.)
*You can’t get dragon and bug gems from rumbling.

The major ones from where you can a lot get gems are, Rumbling, Dream World Shop and Royal Tunnel.
The higher your rumble area is, more gems you get from that area.
