"Now... I know it may be hard to grasp, but at one point in time, gigantic reptiles with wings and powers roamed the lands. But as all things do, they too succumbed to the passage of time and joined the Earth, bleeding their inherent magic into the lands and imbuing them with power. This magic swathed miles and miles of the land, and gave to it a unique ability... The magic that had soaked in had no where to go, as the earth couldn't dissolve it away.

That magic came surging forth, coalescing into sediment, roots, and fossils, breathing life into what was once inanimate. The first of these creatures to rise was formed around the boned of one of those dragons fallen long ago. It took the name 'Gaia' and roamed the caverns that it called home. Gaia had come to revere the land that had given them life, and made a silent oath to defend and protect it from harm.

Under Gaia's protective watch, the land flourished growing thick and lush foliage, deep, mineral-rich caves and caverns as well as an abundance of flora and fauna that had come to inhabit the land that Gaia had raised. Among the creatures that began to live there, the magic that still remained has raised even more of these Earth-made creatures who came refer to themselves as 'Earth Dwellers'.

Many of which would meet Gaia, and understand it's importance in their creation and the land's health. They, in entirety, would come to revere Gaia as a pure embodiment of Nature's Spirit, a god so-to-speak... With their religion now instated, and the land free of most harm, the Dwellers were allowed to create their own civilizations which co-existed peacefully along with Nature's best interest.

And that, young Dwellers, is how we came to be."
