"truly beautiful, thats true... I dont see why they´d risk all this
with the war.. " he mumbled, his voice almost cracked a little as
his wings flapped softly
“The war is a devesatation. Anything pure in war is destined to
fall” he said “it is true. No matter what, humans can not get
along. Not in the mortal realm, not in the afterlife” he said,
closing his eyes “the truth is, who is the good guy if we do this
to eachother, hurting our own kind, for the sole purpose of proving
them inferior?” He asked
"I feel like theyre splitting the ´human race´into evil and good
just to prove their point and fight eachother" Corin shrugged
softly, although having never fought before, he seemed to have
rather... negative opinions about the behaviour of the others
“We call those of lower intelligence than us animals, but they have
never had a war. Who do you think the real animals are, corin?” He
asked, looking at the darkening sky, pink petals still falling
"I had promised myself that I wouldnt judge their intelligence..."
he sighed a little "Yet their behaviour just doesnt seem..
acceptable anymore" he shrugged a little
“I expected more of the people who came back as an angel, or a
demon. Yet both failed to meet any of my lowest expectation” he
ssid, sighing “but at least you are the one angel I can trust, the
one angel among the corrupt war beings, the one angel who I know is
perfect”
Blushing shortly he stuttered a little "I´m not.. perfect at all..
I dont think anyone ever could be" he softly flapped one of his
wings, looking at Requiem shortly. "But its nice.. that you think
of me this way
“Well, since I met you you’ve only made me feel better” he said
“when I first ran out of energy, you helped and brought me too a
doctor” he said “when we got home, you trusted me enough to keep my
secret safe” he said “and every time my health got the better of
me, you were there. I can’t think of someone who makes life
better.” He said, smiling at him and lifting his hand up
Humming in agreement, he smiled ever so softly, his wings fluffed
up shortly as the blush stayed on his cheeks this time. "W-Well
thank you-" he stammered softly, "W-what do you think we could do
now..?"
“I don’t know. It’s getting late, and the cherry blossums are
pretty, however it isn’t safe at night. Other demons in disguise
don’t have to wear disguises after dark”
As he looked back at the falling petals, his gaze softened a
little. "its pretty... lets stay out a little more.. I dont mind it
getting dark.. and we´re not far from my home" Corin smiles softly
“Oh my. Found someone you like, kitty?” A voice asked, shrill and
cold, right behind them. Requiem jumped, and twisted around. The
blonde woman with black wings, pale skin and bright red lipstick
was there, her grin wide “oh, you’ve stopped so low” she cackled
“it’s almost pathetic”
Corin flinched as he heard a voice behind him, pulling his wings
back around him, to protect of course. He didnt know this person,
but he knew that he wouldnt want to get to know her either.
She pulled out a cane, and a spear slid out of the end “who’s this?
A pathetic hen for you, rooster?” She said, smiling, as she reached
for his chin, her spear tipped cane held at his forehead “Back
off” requiem said, slowly turning into his true form, branches
and fire flicking off his body “oh, big boy activated his true
demon” she ssid, slicing it around “how cute and how pathetic”
He didnt want him to pick a fight, no not at all. That was the
least thing they´d need to do now. He looked at Requiem with a
rather worried look, not knowing what he should do now. Fear was
rising up, Nervousness was already present but now it was getting
worse
“‘Don’t you know how to be polite to your superiors?” She asked, as
a bolt of black energy fired from her spear, and it returned him to
his demon form, wheezing in pain “now, you, angel, are you going to
tell me everything you know or will I be forced to take it out?”
She asked, poking the spear at her
The woman looked directly into his eyes, then hissed “Ugh” the
woman said “you’re useless. Both of you” she said, before whisking
away, dissapearing into the shadows
