Do I just level it up while it holds the Mega Stone or do I use the Mega Stone on it?

To mega evolve pokemon, the pokemon has to have a mega Bubble on its summary page. You can mega evolve it by giving it the Mega Stone to hold, and letting it reach Level 50.
