So I Am big fan pokemon. I Really dont understand why nintendo dont make really awesome pokemon mmo game. Pokemon so popular in every country. If you just make really good mmo pokemon game i mean really big game and really good game , and if you make it free that game should be #1 in world. so much people play it. Pokemon sword not even enough for what i think. I really want big one. Game like world of warcraft but with 2020 version. And if you make it free , then sell somethings in game i am sure that game will be #1 top game on world. ( Sorry for bad english but i hope you understand what i saying)https://9apps.ooo/

Nintendo tends to be rather greedy and lazy, they don't like fan games that are real good either.

Sadly as good as Nintendo's games are the higher ups that are in charge of what developers make are greedy, lazy, and dont know their audience

Perhaps if the company doesnt go up in flames by the time new higher ups come in we will eventually get something like a Pokemon MMO, but until then it's most likely not going to happen, or not be good

I've always thought if they made a game with every region it would be a best seller. It would be totally doable on the switch, even with BDSP graphics

From a business standpoint, making a game with every region in it is just a bad move. There are groups of people who are already dissatisfied with new generations the way things are now. If they release a super huge game like that, they're either just setting themselves up for fan backlash, or the end of the Pokémon series.

Sure, a super huge game like that WOULD sell amazingly. But saying that implies that main series Pokémon games don't already hit top 100, when in fact the only generations that didn't place top 50 out of every game out there are 5 and 6. (Source)

The fact of the matter is that TPC won't do something crazy like that unless they're planning to end (or heavily slow down production of) the Pokémon series. What they already have works for them. They don't NEED to listen to their vocal fanbase because pandering to them is more costly and time deficient than just sticking to their plan. Even if people "boycott" their games, that's really not gonna make a huge dent in performance. That being said, they still want to make as much as they can. If 100 people pull out of buying a Pokémon game, that's $6,000 TPC doesn't get. And thanks to social media, 100 can turn into 10000, or even 100000. (I hesitate to say it could reach the millions, though.) Like I said, losing 100,000 sales isn't actually as big of a deal as it seems, because over 20 million copies of Sword/Shield were bought, not even counting DLC. $6,000,000 is a LOT of money (for us casuals, anyways) to lose out on though, and the whole point of business is to sell a lot while spending as little as reasonably possible.

I'm not "siding" with Game Freak or The Pokémon Company on how they run their business, but it's understandable, knowing how business works.

tl;dr: In TPC's eyes, a huge game like that is an unnecessary venture at this stage because they already have stable income from many fronts.
