"Argh, this is hopeless! We've been here for half an hour and there's nothing!" Kyohei huffed in anger, stomping through the grassy field of Route 1 and thinking every Pokemon there are just...hibernating. He was about to leave for the next route when a sudden rustling was heard behind him. Kyohei immediately whirled around and threw the Bounsweet who had been sleeping cozily in his bag pocket, practically hurling the thing like a bullet through the air. A loud bonk can be heard from the direction the poor Bounsweet was thrown.

When Kyohei looked at what happened, a poor Fletchling is fainted beside his Bounsweet, who has quite a bruise on her head. Kyohei pet the Bounsweet who's practically glaring death at him. "Since you have no useable attack for now and type-advantage isn't in your favour, I think that was the best way to do the job!" The Bounsweet kept on glaring before waddling back to the to the pocket to let his poor head heal. In the meanwhile, Kyohei boop a pokeball on the currently fainted Fletchling and succesfully capturing it. "Nice, welcome to the team! I'll promise to heal you when we reach the next town, haha..." he chuckled nervously before running towards the next route to get more members.

Echo and Scarlett were busy training. Scarlett was trying to perfect her moves, and meanwhile Echo was throwing knives at her hand crafted target board, so that when she did encounter a pokemon, she could catch it successfully.

"PWEHH!" Just as Kyohei got out of the grass in Route 1, he was tackled forward by another Pokemon. He looked on the Pokemon that was sitting on top of him, an Eevee wagging their tail. The poor Eevee immediately gets smacked by the Bounsweet for having been bought down as well from the fall. Eevee backed off and shook their head, getting rid of the small headache cause by the hit. But at that momentary distraction, Kyohei sit up and hurled a Pokeball at the Eevee, sucking it in and succesfully capturing it.

Bounsweet lets off a chirp of annoyance from having another rest disrupted. "Okay, how about I'll just put you up here then." He put up Bounsweet on his head, "there, so you can jump off if something happens and I can whirl you at the enemy if you don't!" Bounsweet lets out a small huff for acceptance (although gives a glare for the latter).

Kyohei picked up the pokeball and sends out the Eevee, then proceeding to flick the Eevee's head making it whine. "That's what you get for attacking me, but I'll forgive you if you join us on our journey!" At that sentence, the Eevee let out a happy yip and snuggles between Kyohei's legs before he picks them up.

"Maybe we could look around more to train you guys up..."

"Alright Bounsweet, let's try that Rapid Spin one more time!" Bounsweet started spinning around, creating a small tornado around them and knocking out a wild Oddish after it had been hurt by Eevee. "Good job Bounsweet!" he picks Bounsweet up and pet Bounsweet, letting it out a small chirp of satisfication.

He proceed to put Bounsweet back on the top of his head and starts walking along with Eevee in a random direction to find more Oddish when he accidently found Aki's resting place. "Oh? What do I spy, a trainer?" Kyohei's smile grew as Eevee energetically jumps in front of him and run towards Snowflakes. "Wait, that Alolan Vulpix, you're a beginner too then, huh?"

The Eevee curiously sniff Snowflakes and then lets out a cheerful yip at Berry. Kyohei stops in front of Aki and outstretch his arm, "that makes both of us, nice to meet you, I'm Kyohei!"

Kyohei sweatsdropped a bit, he then pulls out a berry from one of his pocket bag and gives it to Berry, "compensation!"

"What's up with your Vulpix anyways? Did Berry just up and committed a war crime in front of her?" he joked as Bounsweet bounces back up to Kyohei's head. Eevee excitedly wags his tail and jumping around Snowflakes, happy to find a possible playmate.
