I often find myself planning roleplay after roleplay, for me to then never actually post them, or go any further than creating its sign-up thread.
It's fair to say that I've lost confidence over the years when it comes to roleplaying, especially when it comes to leading my own, and I think that's due to stress in my personal life.
Yet, I still have this desire to roleplay?
The freedom to play any character and to explore worlds that may be completely different from our own.
It's magical and I totally believe that you don't have to be the best writer in the world to enjoy it.
So instead of flooding the roleplay forum with posts, I'm hoping that it's okay to keep all my WIPs within a diary.
Though, whether or not they're destined to be played out is, of course, another matter.

Hello, I'm ~Fahrenheit~ and I have been a member of Pokeheroes for almost 5 years now.
By choice, I've become much quieter on-site, completely emptying my friendslist to keep away from drama.
Whilst art, at one point, was a focus of mine here, I'm currently attempting to get back into roleplaying.
I believe I joined my first on-site roleplay in my first year: just a casual Pokemon roleplay that did go on for a while, but nothing really happened in it.
However, I'd begun roleplaying, off-site, at around the age of 13.
These roleplays were usually of fantasy nature where I had the role of creatures, such as werewolves.

I, personally, like to try to give back as much as I receive from my partner/s as I feel like it's only fair on my behalf and believe it helps to keep a roleplay going.
Despite this, I'm also totally fine with short replies if the roleplay is going at a bit of a faster pace.
So, I don't hate one-liners, they just get a little boring sometimes and give-off an uninterested vibe.
If anything is a must-have, I just ask that you use sentences/paragraphs and not a scripted format as I find it difficult to read.
Usually, my posts are between a couple of sentences to a paragraph long - give or take a tad, which depends on who my partner/s is/are.
But, naturally, they'll most likely be a lot longer at the beginning of the roleplay to develop the scenes.
I almost always roleplay in the third person and, usually, in the present tense.
A little extra, but I pride myself in trying to make my posts "pretty": using icons, and separating each part via character, to make each interaction clearer for both myself and everyone else - I don't expect everyone else to do this, however~

I'm not the most literate person and I do struggle, mostly with vocabulary, in my opinion.
Sometimes, I can't help but feel like my writing is just bland, but I worry about using a thesaurus to try to change things up in fear that I use a word wrong and it's super obvious lmao-
But on a serious note, I try my best, and can only ask that my partner/s does/do too.
I generally value having fun over perfect literacy, just as long posts make sense.

I think I'll forever be a fan of the fantasy genre, whether that's playing as supernatural creatures or humans with magic or special abilities, or exploring worlds other than Earth (I love world-building too).
Other genres that I'm a fan of include: horror, mystery, adventure, perhaps even a bit of action (these can also be sub-genres)
Slice-of-Life roleplays can also be fun with the right people!
Overall, I favour original plots over fandoms, simply because I feel like many of my fandoms aren't very well-known or popular.
But some fandoms that I feel comfortable enough to play include:
Pokemon; Love Live!; The Promised Neverland; Uma Musume; Corpse Party; Stardew Valley; Spyro
I prefer playing human/humanoid characters. They're usually female, but I have no problem with trying to branch out.
I won't play canon characters, just because I don't think I'd be able to keep in character throughout the roleplay.

Romance is cute and all, and I don't mind there being some romance between characters in a group roleplay, as long as it doesn't become the focus.
For personal reasons, I will not roleplay romance that goes beyond 'fluff' (cute and cuddly) as I find it super awkward and uncomfortable to talk about 'that' stuff with people who I do not know - so, no smut/lemons/anything considered 18+, sorry.
I'm totally fine with roleplaying FxM or FxF relationships but may struggle with MxM as I lack experience with playing male characters.
I love watching relationships between characters grow and do not believe in the 'love at first sight' stuff.
This also goes for platonic relationships because they're just as cute!
For general maturity, I'm also fine with gore (if it suits the plot and genre) and swearing (when roleplaying off-site due to rules).
I would prefer to be informed of any triggers people may have, beforehand, if it's the kind of roleplay to contain them.
In turn, I trust others to be sensible and considerate of other people's triggers

Aoife’s magic made itself known at the age of 10/11 and is limited to the creation and manipulation of metals and crystals, only. She is not actually able to bend the earth (boulders, soil, etc.) as her power implies. Depending upon the energy applied, her creations range from small ores to giant monoliths several feet tall, which are relatively stronger than those naturally occurring due to the involvement of magic. However, she prefers to use her magic in hand with her traditional skills, creating arrowheads and armour from the crystals and metals she 'grows', thus rarely having to actually use magic in battle.

Just when their collection couldn’t possibly get any bigger.
Their home, a museum filled with flawless taxidermied trophies, mainly, of the Canidae family.
There were just as many of the little critters running free (or as free as permitted) on the grounds of the grand property.
Not forgetting, the loyal shapeshifting servants, originally bought from the black markets, that dealt with their every request.
But upon hearing from them that they knew of the location of a pack of werewolves - supposedly now extinct from hunting - they’d be a fool not to take up the chances to obtain one of the most elusive treasures.
A werewolf? Perhaps even a whole pack, at their hands?
What’d be a better way to flaunt their power then to capture them?

In the realm of [TBNd], life feeds from the energy produced by a large singular crystal hovering in the sky.
During the day, it pulses waves in the colours of a rainbow, whilst at night, it's a pretty aurora.
The kingdom living directly beneath the obelisk is the exclusive home for royalty.
Seven palaces. Seven families.
But the ruins left behind suggests there was once eight.
So when a loud explosion erupts, it's quickly followed by a downpour of glassy shards over the realm.
The curse was unleashed.
All colour began to slowly drain from the world leaving behind greyscale footprints.
But, of course, the task at hand isn't going to be as simple as 'collect all the shards'.
Not only have they been scattered across the realm, but they've also transmuted into titans who are hell-bent on destroying everything in their path.
To retrieve the shards, the titans must be defeated.
However, 'they' are going to make sure it won't be easy.

A ‘dream catcher’ is a handmade object which is woven into a loose net and is finally decorated sacred items such as feathers and beads. Traditionally, a dream catcher was intended to protect a sleeping individual from negative dreams, while letting positive dreams through. The centre of the dream catcher would hold all the nightmares and negativity in it - just as insects get stuck in a spider web - and let go of all positive dreams and thoughts through, gliding down feathers to the sleeping person below. So then, when morning came around, the sunlight would hit the charm and destroy all the bad energy.
But when the negative energy isn’t consumed, what happens to it?
There have recently been more cases of people falling asleep and not waking up. Not death, but medically unexplainable coma-like states. Whilst many last a couple of days to a few weeks, more severe instances have lasted for years.
Unknowingly, all these studies have one thing in common: the ability to travel into the dream world, much like lucid dreaming. It’s an odd place, created by the thoughts and emotions of those sleeping. But going too far out into it makes it easier for the dreamer to become lost and disorientated. Add the negative energy into the mix and you have the concoction for a place of horror. As demons feed on a dreamer’s nightmares, they only get stronger and a step closer to their goal, which is to take over a lost one’s true body to use as a vessel in order to gain access to Earth.
