Kari crafted a wooden pickaxe, then mined downwards. He found some iron and gold, built back up, built a furnace, and smelted the gold and iron. He collected the ingots, and made weapons for everyone, then made some golden apples. He pulled on his netherite armour, which he'd hidden from Erebus, and tossed the rest of the weapons to everyone. Kari pulled out his backup diamond armour too, and tossed it to everyone as well. (No enchants, by the way. Oh, and Erebus can't pop in and take the things.)
