Without warning, a tremor of unbelievable strength rocks the Johto region, so strong that even Kanto and other nearby regions had also felt the milder tail-end of the quakes. It lasts a mere couple of minutes and, at the same time, the mid-day sky begins to swirl with an eerie darkness. Next came the torrential downpour, each raindrop a bullet, which pelted those below. Then there was thunder. With thunder, came lightning, striking structures and trees, causing raging fires that refused to be doused by the rain.
The last thing you remember is seeing three strange glowing signs within the shadow-veiled sky before you find yourself waking up in Ecruteak City. Initially, you appear to be alone, the town seemingly lifeless. It’s dark and still raining, your clothes drenched, yet there’s no sign of damage from the earthquake or fires. All your Pokeballs are scattered across the ground, except for one which is unaccounted for. But being unable to locate your final partner, it’s probably best to find some shelter before your health begins to deteriorate. Perhaps the Pokemon Center is open?

700 years ago, the Ecruteak towers were built, meaning to foster the friendship between people and Pokemon.
Many people would ascend to the tops of these towers to commune with the legendary Pokemon that resided there.
It was only 150 years ago, however, when the Brass tower caught fire after being struck by lightning.
Though this was eventually put out by the rain, three lives were lost during the event.
When the bodies were recovered, they were beyond recognisable but guesses suggest that they were the trio of young trainers who often trained in the towers due to their sudden disappearance.
Local legends hint that they were rebirthed as the legendary beasts (Raikou, Entei and Suicune) as the trainers were known for using a Jolteon, Flareon and Vaporeon, respectively.

Currently treating this as a WIP, purely because I'm unsure of where to take this, plot-wise.
I've had this 'idea' for the past week or so, whilst hooked (again) on Corpse Party.
I wanted to do the kind of 'you're trapped in another dimension with a bunch of evil spirits that you have to appease if you want to escape' thing.
And the Burned Tower was the only thing that came to mind that has something death-related.
Just struggling with a reason why there would be any need to appease the spirits in the first place-
So like, if you're interested so far, feel free to throw some ideas at me ;w;
