Mally shook her head. "I'm fine, really. But we need to get the MoleBull out of here." Lawernce nodded. "This tranquilizer won't do much, but it should distract him long enough for everyone to run. And when I say run, you run. Even if I'm standing stock still and the Molebull is coming right for me, I want you to run, hear?"

"I wonder it's just if they see a human. Why not other mutants or animals?" Winnie mused, glancing around the room. She sighed. It was times like these when she wished she had signed up to work in the lab, instead of as a fighter. Sadly, nothing could be done about that now.

Sammy continued moving around the lab. "We thought about that as well. But it appears that the chemical reaction only can recognize human cells, so there is no reaction unless we're talking territorial instincts, which is something completely different."

Once they reached the water, Mally said, "We can stop now. We should be safe."


The group soon left. The swampy trees were close together and blocked out a lot of light. Everyone was quiet, so there was little sound except the swishing of oars in the water.
