“I-I was taking my time.” he said, then smiled. He sat down and looked through books. He was searching for a specific book about Animus dragons. He found it and started reading, trying to find some good animus dragons besides Turtle, Anemone, and others that the world knew of.

Nightfall went back to reading about Animus dragons. He wanted to know more about how one’s soul was lost, since it could happen to him. He was glad nobody knew he was an animus.

Nightfall didn’t freeze up, he just said, “N-no I’m n-not. I just kn-now about them.” He didn’t show any traces of being an animus. He looked at Hawk and said, “W-well I’m n-not one.” He always talks like this so it was probably easier to hide it.
