Nightfall said nervously, “Y-yeah.” and then tried avoiding eye contact. It’s what he was told to do at home, so it was probably required here. He looked at Auklet for a quick second then looked away again. He started bowing to her.

Nightfall allowed his talon to be taken and was okay with being led to art. Art sounded nice and fun. He liked things that were nice. And maybe he didn’t have to talk to anybody.
